“Guys, I think something’s wrong with V” Matt said
“Like what?” Zacky asked concerned
“Well eve since the party, she’s been almost withdrawn. She doesn’t want to eat lunch with us anymore. Or even hang out any more. She always has some good excuse as to why she can’t” Matt said
“I’ve noticed that too. She always as an excuse so believable that I didn’t think much of it” Johnny said
“What do you think could be the matter?” Jimmy asked. At this Matt turned to Brian with a pissed off look. “I’m only going to ask this once, and don’t bullshit me either. Did anything happen on the tour of the house you gave V?” Matt asked
“Yea, you rally didn’t invite Charlottee to go. You asked only Laska to go with you” Jimmy said
“What happened?” Matt demanded.
Realizing that he had to tell them, he hung his head and slouched in his favorite chair. He took a deep breath, and exhaled before he spoke. “Well I showed her the house. And I showed her here. And we were talking and I well I ummm kissed her. She kissed me back so I kissed back. We were making out, just kissing, when she stopped. And then she ran back upstairs. That’s all that happened I swear!” Brian confessed.
“I’m gunna kill ya. I’m gunna fuckin kill ya!” Matt said as he got up and walked towards Brian.
“Now, now children” Jimmy said “I don’t think that’ll be necessary. If Laska has stopped talking to us then it probably means she’s ashamed or something. We’ll just call Charlottee and ask where Laska is. And then we will meet up with Laska”
“Yea I agree with Rev” Brian said
“Yea, you would” Matt said but also agreed.
Zacky took out his phone and called Charlottee. “Hello?” Charlottee asked
“Hey Charlottee; it’s Zacky. We were just wondering if you knew where Laska is?” Zacky asked
“Yea; she’s at the gym. She should be there for at least another half an hour” Charlottee said
“Oh thank you” Zacky asked
“No problem” Charlottee said with a smile. They both hung up the phone. “C’mon guys, she’s at the gym” Zacky said. They all jumped up and basically ran to the car. They all walked into the gym slowly and looked for Velaska. No surprise they found her in a boxing ring. “Please don’t go light on me” Velaska told her partner
“Why?” the guy asked
“Because I’m not going to go light on you. And I hate it when guys go easy on me cause I’m a girl” Velaska explained.
“Alright, I’ll try not to go light on you” the guy said. His and Velaska’s boxing glove tapped each others before they brought them back up to in front of their faces. They circled each other before Velaska attacked first. She pretended to kick him, so when he lowered his hand to block her kick, she punched him in the face. The guy got pissed and attacked Velaska. He went straight in for a punch. Velaska smiled on the inside as she grabbed his fist with her hand, placed her other hand on his elbow and folded it over her hand. Then brought it up to the side of his head. Then used her leg as a bench, bent his knee over it and brought him to the ground. He and Avenged Sevenfold were shocked. The guy kept charging at her but she would either punch, kick or take him down. Whenever he got the chance to strike and actually hit Velaska, it would be like fuel on the fire and she would retaliate twice as bad.
They soon finished and took a very well needed water break. The guys took this time to approach her. “Hey V!” Matt said with a smile, which almost caused Velaska to choke on her water.
“Oh hey guys” Velaska said with a smile
“You are so badass!” Jimmy yelled
“Ummm thanks Jimmy” Velaska said
“So what’ve you been up to?” Zacky asked
“Oh just working out a lot. And hanging out with Lottee a lot as well” Velaska said then took another sip of her water
“And ignoring us” Johnny said which caused Velaska to choke on her water.
“No, I was busy. I’ve been busy” Velaska said
“I told them what happened” Brian said
“I don’t know what you’re talking about” Velaska said
“Laska, I told them about the kiss. So you can stop pretending to be clueless” Brian said with a little attitude in his voice.
“I’m not pretending to be clueless Brian. I’m trying to pretend like it never happened” Velaska said back with a bite.
“Why? Why would you want to do that?” Brian asked as the rest of the guys watched, some hoping to see a show.
“Because” Velaska said
“That’s not good enough” Brian said
“Fine. It’s because I care about you, okay. I fuckin care about you in a non-brotherly way. And I felt like you thought it was a mistake because when I ran you didn’t come after me. I thought you freaked out because I’m M’s sister and that you were afraid of what he would do to you if he found out. I don’t enjoy lying to my brother, by the way; I told him you wee in the bathroom and never told him about the kiss.”
“Oh Laska…” Brian said sweetly
“Don’t ‘oh Laska’ me. I’ve seen who you’ve become. You used to be my best friend. And now all you have to do is say hi and girls will flock over you. I won’t be used like a toy. My feelings aren’t something you can mess around with Brian. And it’s hard to be around you when I’m trying to forget my feelings towards you. Now excuse me, I’m done at the gym.” Velaska said to Brian, then she spun to the rest of the guys and said “It was nice to see you again.” She kissed Matt on the cheek and grabbed her skull gym bag and headed out. Just as she jumped into her Jeep, Brian held the door opened “Laska, please just talk to me” Brian begged.
“I did, inside the gym. Now please let of my door so I can go” Velaska said nicely
“No” Brian said
“Though I don’t want to, I am not afraid to punch you” Velaska said. “M! Tell Brian to let go of my door!” Velaska said as she saw Matt and the others finally walked outside.
“I hate to say this V, but you should listen to what he has to say” Matt said as Velaska just shut off her car and sat there with her arms crossed.
“I don’t want to play with your feelings. I don’t want to mess around with you. I still see you as my best friend. And what if I don’t want to forget your feelings towards me? What if I have feelings for you too? Did you ever think that, that might be the reason why I kissed you? Velaska, please give me a chance, I’m begging you. I want you to give us a try, please” Brian said
“I think you should say yes like you want to!” Jimmy yelled
“Thanks Jimmy” Brian said
“I agree with Jimmy” Johnny said
“Me too” Zacky said
“V, it’s to you. Just think about it before you give an answer” Matt said
“Please Velaska, just at least one chance” Brian begged.
“If you are serious about what you are saying, then you can pick me up tonight at 7pm. If you blow this off, everything is off. And trust me, you don’t ever want to deal with a pissed off me” Velaska said
“Oh thank you!” Brian said and hugged Velaska “Be ready for 7, I’ll be there so be ready on time” Brian added
“I will. Can I go now?” Velaska asked
“Ummm yea” Brian said with a lopsided smile. He hugged her one more time before he shut the door. Velaska started her car up and blasted her iPod as she back out and headed home.
