Desires Of The Unknown

"Only if you make her bleed."

I sighed as I put on another coat of mascara. I had gotten a call from my father, telling me I had a job. I was to attract a guy and get him from the club to an alley way, and get him into a car. I had to take him to a CIA warehouse where they would ‘extract’ information from him. I hated this job, but it was all I knew and all I had.
I pulled the shirt over my head as Valentine walked into the door way of the bathroom. I shot him a smile and fixed whatever in my appearance needed to be fixed. Valentine gave me an ear piece. I put in the ear piece as he clipped the microphone to the fabric at the bottom of my bra that connected the two cups.
I took a deep breath and we walked out of the bathroom. I grabbed my gun and Valentine’s hand as I exited the hotel room. I put my gun in my thigh holster that was high on my thigh. I smiled at him and we made our way down stairs, and to the club.
The heard the distant clap of thunder and almost jumped. I hated storms, ever since Jerry, I have hated them and I knew I would never get over them. Valentine looked up at the sky and smiled when he heard the clap of thunder.
When we got to the club, I walked right in, dragging Valentine with me. He went straight for the dance floor while I made a beeline for the bar hoping they wouldn’t ask for ID if I showed enough cleavage.
I leaned against the bar with my elbows, pushing my boobs out of my low cut shirt. The bartender smiled at me sweetly, discreetly glancing at my boobs. I gave him the friendliest smile I had.
“Can I get a vodka martini?” I sighed and quickly changed it to a double shot of tequila when I saw someone I didn’t want to see for a while. “Never mind, can I get a double shot of tequila?”
He nodded and got the shots, asking if I needed anything. I shook my head and gave him the money. I quickly downed the two shots and shook my head once, smiling at the stunned bartender.
“You’re fifteen, you shouldn’t be drinking.”
“I’ll be sixteen in a month. And I’ve already had sex; I think I can handle two shots of tequila.”
“You’re on a mission.”
I turned and slapped him in the face. “You lost the right to care about me when our parents,” I couldn’t help but spit the word out. “Turned me away at thirteen.”
“I’m worried,” he said, grabbing my arm.
I broke away when I saw the target staring at me. I sighed and walked over to him, giving him a sweet smile. I pulled him over to the dance floor and started grinding on him, making him smile down at me.
I saw Valentine make his way to the door that lead out to the alley. I smiled up at the guy and brought his face down to mine. I started kissing him fiercely, hoping I could distract him as I moved us to the alley way. I had to try not to get disgusted as he attacked my face with his mouth.
The distraction worked. He walked backwards slowly as I continued to kiss him; my eyes open so I could see everything. I stopped kissing him after we got to the exit, smiling at him seductively. Sex will be the downfall of mankind before anything else is, I couldn’t help but think. I pushed open the heavy metal door and continued to push him backwards into the alleyway.
He was quickly knocked out by Valentine and I let him fall, wiping my mouth of his saliva. He was one of those open mouthed kissers that didn’t realize that they weren’t an actual dog. I sighed and bent down to tie his hands behind his back.
Once I had that done, I stood up and fixed my clothes. Valentine bent down and threw the mark over his shoulder. He made his way to the car and threw him into the trunk. We got into the back and were off to the CIA warehouse before we even buckled our seat belts.
We were never told the mark’s name, and we weren’t supposed to know, but as I was kissing him, I swiped his wallet. I glanced at Valentine from the corner of my eye and gave him a sideways smirk as I flashed him the wallet by my thigh. He smirked and grabbed it quickly so the driver would not see it.
I looked at the ID and I saw it was a fake. I moved my hand over and saw the driver looking at me. I grabbed Valentine’s hand, hiding the wallet from the driver’s view. He smirked at me.
“Aww, Little Gwen,” My breathing stopped as he said that name. “Has a boyfriend.”
“Who’s Gwen?” Valentine asked, letting go of my hand and tucking the wallet under his thigh.
“No one,” I cut in. “He’s an idiot.”
“I’m telling mom,” he whined.
“How in the fuck did you get into the fucking CIA? I’m pretty sure your dumb ass couldn’t even get into a city police department!”
“We’re here,” he mumbled.
Valentine got out and went to the trunk. I hesitated and looked at my brother-in-law. “He doesn’t know, and I don’t know how you do. Say one more God damn thing and you’ll find that it won’t be the head of a horse in your bed.”
He scowled, but nodded anyway. “Fine.”
“And go ahead and tell my mom. I haven’t talked to her in a while. Two years to be exact. She’s just going to tell you to toughen up.” I opened the door and turned to get out, but I looked over my shoulder at him. “Oh, and don’t let your wife train that baby like I was. You really don’t want her to turn out like me.”
He nodded softly, his scowl dropping as I shut the door. I sighed and walked over to the door that Valentine disappeared into. I opened it and was face with three guys pointing guns at me. I raised an eyebrow at them.
“Lower you weapons, or I will make you lower them.”
I dropped to the ground as one pulled the trigger. I kicked him in the knee, hearing a satisfying snap along with a pain filled scream. Before the other two had time to register what I was doing, I took their feet out from under them.
I saw Valentine was sitting in a chair with five guys on the ground and a bored expression. I grabbed one of the guys in a head lock, and the other between my thighs, just waiting for them to pass out. It only took a minute.
I sighed and stood up. “I’m offended.”
Valentine chuckled. “Why?”
“You got more guys than me, but I kick your ass in Gym.”
“I’ve never had those classes at my school.”
I smirked at him. “What other classes didn’t they have that mine does?”
“Mannerisms and Sex ED.” He wasn’t listening to my tone.
“I’m not one for helping teach manners, but I can help with the Sex ED.”
He froze, but I kept walking, swinging my hips and throwing a smile at him over my shoulder. He groaned in frustration and followed me into the interrogation room. I grabbed the wallet out of Valentine’s back pocket as he walked by. I looked through it and saw the guy’s real ID and I froze.
James Granderson. That’s all I saw.
James Granderson
James Granderson. That’s all that echoed in my head.
“Fuck.” I breathed out.
“What?”
“Granderson.”
“What?!” he hissed, taking the real ID.
“That’s right baby,” came a voice I didn’t recognize.
I turned to him. “So, why do we have you here?”
He shrugged. “I don’t know. I’ve only been in this family for a year. My father-in-law told me I had to take the name.”
“And you’re already hitting on under aged girls,” I sighed, sitting in one of the two chairs across from him. “Your wife needs to fuck you, get better at sex or put a leash on you.”
“I vote the last one,” Valentine said, turning the other chair backwards and straddling it.
“Me too.” I nodded.
The guy just smirked at me. “You didn’t seem to think I needed one when you were all over me.”
I couldn’t help the laugh that escaped my throat. “I was actually thinking about how you didn’t need to eat my damn face off. When was last time you ate?”
He just glared at me. I smirked and walked over to his side and sat on the table, my skirt flowing around me and showing off my thighs. He stared at them and I smiled sweetly to him.
“Do we know what we’re doing here yet?” I asked Valentine.
“Not yet, but I have a feeling they’re going to kick us out.”
The door opened and my brother’s face popped in. “I need to see you two.”
I hopped off the table and left behind Valentine. I couldn’t help but throw a smirk over my shoulder to the guy. He winked, but I just kept the smirk on my face.
“So, what do you want? You don’t work for the CIA,” I said after I closed the door.
“I do,” came a new, male, voice.
“Dad?” Valentine asked, gripping my wrist lightly.
“Hello Valentine.”
“Why does he have an American accent?” I asked before I could control my mouth.
“We’ll talk about this later,” Valentine whispered.
I nodded as his father steeped forward. They could’ve been mistake for twins, but Valentine’s dad had small wrinkled on his face. They weren’t frown lines, like most would think, they was laugh lines. I was more than interested in Valentine’s family now.
“So, this is the wonderful couple that all the agencies are talking about.” I could detect a slight New York accent.
“Excuse me?” I asked, totally confused.
“They want the dynamic duo.”
“We’re not Batman and Robin. And if we were,” I looked at Valentine. “You would look funny in a Robin costume.”
Valentine’s dad laughed as Valentine rolled his eyes. “I love this girl. How long have you two been going out?”
“Almost six months, sir.”
He looked at his son with a confused expression. “Why haven’t you told me about her before?”
“I’m a need-to-know type person,” I said, covering for Valentine. He seemed close to his dad.
“Okay,” He sighed.
“We weren’t sure it would last. We just wanted to see.”
He nodded. “Okay. I get it. Now, about Granderson, I need you to get him to give a location.”
“What location?” Valentine asked, finally letting go of my wrist.
“The location where your mother is.”
“Is she in trouble?”
“Yes.”
“Good,” Valentine scoffed before walking out of the warehouse.
His father made a move to go after him, but I stopped him and mutter an excuse to as to why I should go after him. I walked out of the warehouse to find Valentine smoking. He glanced at me and took another drag from his cigarette.
“Don’t expect me to save her.”
“You came to a school for spies. Sadly, I’ve been doing this since I was thirteen, whether I liked the person or not. It’s part of the job.”
He looked at me with a disgusted look. “Is that all you think about? The job?”
I shrugged. “That’s all I was taught from day one.”
He shook his head and looked up at the starry sky as he took another drag. “You must love going home for holidays.”
I looked up at the sky too. “Don’t go home for the holidays. I have to kids to look after. Besides, now that I can legally kill them with a good enough lie, I wouldn’t hesitate to kill them and they know it.”
“And I thought I had a fucked up family.”
“I think everyone does, some just hide it better than others.”
“There is something wrong with you.”
I smiled and looked at him. “As with you.”
He chuckled and flicked out his cigarette and threw it in a puddle, ruining any DNA evidence on it. He smirked and held out his hand. I took in and we walked in.
“Would it make you feel better if I hit her?” I asked as we walked in.
“Only if you make her bleed.”
I looked at him with a genuine smile, not that I would ever admit it. “Gladly.”
“Can we get this over with?” my brother snapped.
“I still don’t get why the fuck you are here?!” I exclaimed.
He smirked. “I have to make sure you’re okay,” he said sarcastically. “I love you.”
“I’m armed,” was the only thing I said.
He backed up, but soon came back and dragged me out, back into the chilly night. I shiver slightly at first, but then I started to get annoyed to care about the cold. He sighed and ran his hand through his light brown hair.
“Why can’t you just let me in?!” he asked with a frustrated yell at the end.
“Because you wouldn’t even help your own baby sister! I was thirteen for fuck sakes and all I got was a shrug when I went to your apartment! This whole family is fucked! I have to lie every, fucking day because of what your,” I refused to call them mine. “Parents made me into a fucking robot! I haven’t,” I stopped short, shaking my head at the annoying thought. “Just do me a favor, and leave me the fuck alone. Make your sisters leave me alone too. I can’t keep doing my job if they keep getting in the damned way.”
He shook his head. “Why do you have to be so emotionless?”
“Because your parents made me that way.”
“No, you made yourself that way.”
He walked away, but threw a set of keys at me that I caught effortlessly. He got into the passenger seat of car and the driver sped off, leaving me alone with a motorcycle and an SUV that had to be Valentine’s dad’s.
“You okay?” came a foreign voice.
Out of instinct, I spun around and kicked the person in the stomach, making him grunt and fall to his ass. I stepped on his throat and left hand.
“Who are you?”
He tried to cough out something, but I couldn’t understand him. Valentine’s voice was the one who answered, “He’s one of the few guys who I would trust with my life.”
I cautiously stepped away from him as Valentine helped him up. He looked like the stereotypical nerd. He had black rimmed glasses, a polo shirt on and nice jeans. His blond hair was shaggy and his brow eyes were hidden behind his glasses. He blushed as he saw me looking at him. It was sweet, but it would get annoying fast.
“I’m going to get started on the interrogation,” I said softly, going into the warehouse.
Valentine’s dad handed me rubber gloves and sharp, sharp tool that made me happy. I smiled sadistically as I walked into the interrogation room. I looked at Granderson and gave a demented laugh that made him back up in his chair.
