We Don't Belong Here

I heard someone walking up the steps, moments later the door slowly came open.
"Hi Mallory." Mrs. Jassen said from the door way
"Hello, Mrs. Jassen. I just came to check on Bradley and bring him the stuff he missed today." I said trying not to act suspicious
"Aww, how sweet of you Mallory. Im sure Bradley enjoyed having you over." She glanced at Bradley.
"Yes, well I enjoyed being over. I just hate that he was sick today. I really missed him." I said sincerely smiling
Bradley gets up out of the bed. "Im goin to the kitchen." he says slowly walking down stairs. I follow him and his mom down to the front of the house and grab my keys off the coffee table as I walk by.
"Well, I better be on my way." I said
"Well I thank you for stopping by Mallory." Mrs Jassen says in a fakiness that shows he hidden concern. I swallow hard.
"Bye Mrs. Jasssen."
"Bye Mallory."
"I'll walk you to your car." Bradley says following to me to my car
I stick the key into the car door key hole and unlock the door
"So I guess I'll see you tomorrow?" Bradley asks
"Of course." I say with a smile
He brushes hair out of my face and puts his hand on my cheek and kisses me like hes never gonna see me again. He breaks away and looks into my eyes. He smiles.
"I love you." he whispers
"I love you too." I whisper as butterflies ignite in my stomache
He leans over and kisses me good bye, but something unplanned is about to happen. Something that will change everything. All hell is about to break loose
