Fake Boyfriend?
My heart started beating twice as fast. Josh stated, "Melissa doesn't have a brother, and you seemed way too enthusiastic while singing that song."
"Oh umm well I-I-I have a boyfriend though, and I was thinking about him."
Nice going Rachel, now John won't make a move on you!
John looked disappointed, but I'm probably just imagining it.
"I need to start on my homework, but I'm going to find out who this little boyfriend of this you're talking about." Josh said.
I giggled Josh is so over protective. It's nice, but it gets annoying sometimes.
John looked at me and smiled a tiny smile "You're a good singer."
I grinned "thanks!"
"So does he go to our school?"
"Who?"
"You're boyfriend"
"Oh ya, his name is.... Mason"
"Does he happen to be Mason Smith in our Biology class?"
The second John asked me that I knew my plan.
What John didn't know was that Mason Smith is my good friend for one year now. I think Mason will do me a solid and fake date me. Even though I hate how I put myself in this spiral lie, I can get something good out of this. If I get really lucky John will be jealous.
"Wow, Captain of the basketball team, Mason is cool, but I never see you guys around."
"Ya we just started dating so we didn't really tell anyone."
John had a small, forced smile on his face "well, I better go upstairs to do homework with Josh, I'll see you tomorrow."
I sighed "ya see you."

I know this is super short, sorry. But I'm starting school and have a lot of things in my mind and also homework. I had to give you guys an update! I just couldn't make it so long this time.
