Secrets in the Healing Chapter 8

I started rolling again, but I ran into someone.
“Oh, sorry.” I said, looking down.
“Krissie?” I heard.
I looked up, and Tommy was standing there.
“Oh! Sorry!” I said again, trying to wheel away.
“Wait a minute!” He screamed.
“If you’re about to kill me like yesterday, then sorry, but I don’t want to!” I screamed.
“Would you wait?!” He screamed, as he got next to me, holding the wheelchair.
I crossed my arms and looked at him.
“About yesterday…” He said. “I want to apologize. I wasn’t myself.”
“You think?” I said, trying to roll away.
“I meant, I was drunk.” He said, grabbing the handles.
“So everything you said yesterday was because you were drunk?” I said.
“Yes.” He answered.
“Even when you said that you were doing it for my own good?” I asked, staring him in the eye.
This time, instead of saying anything, he blushed.
“Umm… Tommy… You’re blushing…” I said, giggling.
“Well anyways.” He said, turning around so I couldn’t see him. “Thanks for what you did for Adam.”
After that, he walked away. That was weird. I wheeled around, and then somebody gave me $20.
“Have this.” He said.
“No thanks.” I said, giving it back.
I looked up to see who it was, and it was Monte.
“Monte?” I said, in a whisper.
“So it is true.” He said, looking at me through his sunglasses.
“What’s true?” I asked.
“Tommy and Adam said that you can tell who we are even with disguises on.” He said.
“OMG! It’s Monte!” I heard a fan girl scream.
“He went that way!” I pointed the other direction of Monte, and they ran that way.
After all the girls left, I looked at Monte.
“That’s the second time today. First Adam, now you. I’m surprised that didn’t happen with Tommy.” I said.
“Seems like you’re a busy girl.” He said, smirking.
“Not really.” I said. “Anyways, you should probably leave before they find you.”
“But—“ He started saying.
“Bye!” I said, wheeling away.
“She is one weird girl.” I heard him say.
“Yeah, she is.” I heard Adam agree.
“Yup.” Tommy agreed.
I looked back, and they were all standing there.
“Don’t follow me this time, guys!” I screamed, smiling.
