Private Universe

The fifteenth was almost a nightmare. We were so busy that we had not a single moment to relax and hang out. We had missing equipment that had me running all over the place trying to find. We also had to make sure we had all the passports and everything packed so that we could get across the border without any issues.

The rest of the tech crew wasn't happy that I was there but I wasn't in the mood. For the first time since I had joined the tour they didn't complain or try to control the way I did things. I was grateful because I really wasn't in the mood for any shit today.

The bands were off getting lunch for everyone. They got snacks for before the show and food for the techies. I didn't find time to eat my salad and fries that Alex had bought me. I felt bad because I knew he had remembered from the day before. They show they were playing was big and it needed every hand possible.

It took all the techies from all the bands to get the equipment on and off the stage between sets. I had barely even seen the guys all day and it depressed me a little. They always made the day better but part of me was glad they stayed out of the way. I did not want to flip out on them and have them be angry at me.

When it was finally their turn to go on stage I was able to take a break. I slipped down to the area that was reserved for the photographer and I found Tay from We Are The In Crowd hanging there too. She grinned at me as I stood next to her. I finally knew a few songs from All Time Low so it was about ten times more enjoyable.

I couldn't help but giggle when Alex sang the line about Ke$ha in I Feel Like Dancin'. And when he started to sing Do You Want Me (Dead)? I nearly died. It was my favorite off the new album and I didn't care that all the people behind me gave me dirty looks. I began to dance like a fool and I know Alex saw me.

I was so excited to finally see them perform that I didn't even bother with my phone. I knew the tech guys were calling to see where I was because I knew the set was ending soon and I was going to help. But I wasn't going to miss this show for anything. Alex wanted me here and I did everything in my power to get here. I wasn't going to miss it for anything. I was having way to much fun. Tay and I were rocking out like idiots and it felt good to let loose for a little bit.

After the guys exited the stage Tay and I sprinted to the back and found them drenched in sweat. I couldn't help but grin at Alex. His hair was stuck to the back of his neck and the sides of his face and his shirt was stuck to his chest. But he looked so hot. I pretty much jumped in his arms for a hug.

"That was so good." I pulled away grinning.

"You thought so?"

"Absolutely. I cannot believe I have never listened to you guys before now."

"Seriously. You suck for that." Jack said leaning in to listen to our conversation.

"Thanks, Jack. I didn't think you were that good. Everyone else was pulling up your end." I grinned and Alex laughed.

"You suck." Jack said walking away.

"I love you, Jack!" I said and I saw him wave me off as he went to find the showers.

"Love him?" Alex said almost jealously.

"Friend love." I smiled and took his hand. "I seriously can't believe how good you guys are."

"Thanks." He said pulling me in for another hug. I had to admit, he smelled so awful.

"Alex?" I said against his chest.

"Mmm?"

I pulled away and smiled. "You really stink." I giggled and he only grinned.

"Right. Sorry about that. I'll be back. Shower time!" He ran off in the same direction as Jack and I went to help put everything in the van.

The tech people were not happy I had left them but they didn't complain when I started helping. I threw some of the last picks at the few remaining fans and then continued to pack. It was long and boring. The guys had gone to sign for some fans and I could only smile at the dedication they had to their fans. It truly amazed me.

After everything was packed I decided to finally relax on one of the couches in the front lounge. The guys were still signing outside the bus and I was going to let security figure out when to get them back in the bus and on the road. I had done enough for one day. I was just about to drift off to sleep when the entered the bus rather loudly.

"Oh shit. Did we wake you?" Rian asked.

"No. I was only relaxing."

"Oh good." He said.

"Who cares if we woke her up. She's mean." Jack said pouting while standing in front of the kitchen sink.

"Aww. Jackie's being a cry baby." I said mocking him.

"See?!"

I got up and stood in front of him. "I'm sorry, Jackie. You played very well tonight. And you're not a cry baby." I said hugging him.

"Don't call me Jackie. I'm not a chick."

I opened my mouth to argue but thought it wouldn't be a good idea because he was already in a sensitive mood. Alex had just sat down on the couch watching Jack and I and I bounded toward him and sat right next to him. His arm automatically found my waist and I grinned.

"Oh wonderful." Jack said watching us. "Finally lovebirds." He said sarcastically. He didn't even wait for us to respond. He just stalked off to the bunks.

"What's Jack's problem?" I asked the guys.

"No idea." Zack said.

"I haven't seen him this angry and upset in a while."

"Hmm." I said.

"He just needs to chill out. If he's still like that in the morning I'll talk to him." Alex said smiling at me.

"I need to call my girl." Rian said and he walked off toward the back lounge.

"I'm going to drop dead from exhaustion. I'll see you guys tomorrow." Zack said heading for the bunks. Soon it was just Alex and me.

He grinned at me. "I'm clean now."

"True." I pretended to think for a second before I kissed him. He had obviously brushed his teeth because I could taste the mint. I pulled away and smiled at him. "What now?"

He grinned. "I could think of a few things." There was something behind that grin that told me I should just say no.

"I don't think so. We just had our first date." I grinned.

"True."

He got up and popped in a movie and then we settled into the couch better. He had his arm around my waist and we were basically spooning each other. Personally, I had no problem with it.
