The Game

Courtney dove into the seat by Monica. "Why did you sit with that freak?"

Monica glared "He’s not a freak. He’s a person. He’s sweet and funny and........"

Courtney’s mouth dropped "You’re falling for Way! I won’t tell anyone but delete my number from your phone." she got up and strutted away.

Monica blinked after her ex-friend. Well, she didn’t need friends like that anyway.

Meanwhile across the school:::

Mikey tapped his foot as his iPod blared Mötley Crüe. He had an A in global so he didn’t care. He did his work quickly then ignored everything until the end of class.

After class he stood and was ready to go to gym. "Hey Way." He looked to see who was talking to him.

It was Derek. A local ‘Emo’ boy.

"You stole my Monica." His emerald green eyes glared.

"I don’t think she’s yours." He said.

"She was going to be." He hissed.

"Then you should have asked her out." Mikey snorted and walked away.

Mikey had to ask her out before Derek did or it’d be to late. But he only met her today. It was time to roll out the secret charm no one knew he possessed.
