Recap- I looked up from my bowl, out through the window, and saw… no… it couldn’t be.

My spoon dropped onto the floor, clattering. Draco looked up at me, alarmed.
“What’s wrong?” he asked, following my gaze to look outside. I blinked, and Drake was gone. The three words rotated in my head until I felt dizzy, and I clutched my head “Maia what’s wrong?” Draco whispered, tilting my face towards him by holding my chin with his thumb and forefinger. My eyes were wide. It had to be a dream. It was a hallucination. I’d been through enough to have hallucinations. He couldn’t really be there. He wouldn’t… not on Malfoy property… what was he, crazy?
“Draco what are you doing today?” I whispered. Draco seemed confused
“Quidditch finals. Why?” he asked, before his eyes widened, realisation hitting “Maia… You’re not going to be alone! My parents and all of the house elves are here! Don’t worry ok? I wish I could take you, but it’s a professional meeting with all the greatest players… I’m sorry” he said, looking pained. I shook my head, placing a fake smile on my face
“No that’s ok” I whispered “Your parents are here. I’ll be fine” I chocked, before getting up and going towards the front doors.
“Maia where are you going?” Draco asked frantically.
“I just… I gotta go… clear my head...” I told him, picking up my cars keys, but he covered my hand with his.
“Maia I don’t want you going anywhere alone” he said firmly.
“I’ll be fine… look, I’ll take Maisie and Millie, ok?” I told him. Draco looked hesitant, but I gave him a pleading look, and he sighed
“Ok. But be back soon ok? Promise me. And keep your phone on. And if anything goes wrong, I want you to call me first. Not the hospital. Not the police. Me. Ok?” he asked me, holding my face in his hands desperately. I nodded
“Ok” I whispered, and Draco sighed, his forehead resting on mine. He opened his eyes and kissed my forehead before hugging me tightly.
“Come back to me” he whispered. I nodded on his shoulder, before getting Maisie and Millie and getting into my car.
