Absorption
"You need me to what?" I asked with extreme confusion.
"When a Time Lord begins to die, he or she gains the ability to pour their genetics and memory into another person. It helps to ensure our greatest genetics do not go unwasted."
"Wouldn't you still be alive inside me? And wouldn't I start to look like you?"
"No, you would still look the same as you are now, but you would cease to be human and share the DNA and anatomy of a Time Lord. My consciousness would cease to exist, the only thing you would gain would be my memories many of which would be repressed so the flood information does not cause your mind to shut down. So I'm asking you again Rose Tyler, will you do this? Help the Time Lords, I beg this of you."
I hesitated for a moment before I nodded yes. He motioned to me and he grabbed my shoulders, his skin began to turn the yellow orange that The Doctor had turned when he regenerated. Only this time the color was starting to pass into me.
It began to burn ever so slightly, it felt like every cell of my body was being purged. I felt my body begin to change, a second heartbeat pounding through my body like a drum. All was made clear, the past, present, and the future, almost as it was when I made my transformation in Bad Wolf. The color began to slowly fade away until none of it was left. A flood of information flowed through my head, if I had been human it probably would have burst. Instead it filed it away like a giant filing cabinet, information on how to work the TARDIS, information on Racnoss, Great Vampires, Dalek's, and the like.
I walked over to a mirror to make sure that I didn't look like an old man now, I looked and saw the same old blonde hair and brown eyes. I walked over and put the man's body into a ejection tube and shot him out into space. Somehow I knew he would like that.
I strutted back over and stopped at the TARDIS controls. I pressed a few buttons and headed back to Earth. Back to the Powell Estate. Back...home.
After pushing the buttons, I fell to the ground, my whole body was aflame as I felt the aftereffects of a such a violent and life altering change affect me. My eyes rolled back into my head and I felt myself pass out. Sleep washing over me like a black tide.

Sorry for the repost, little sister accidently deleted this chapter. Anyway a reexplantion of absorption is basically when a Time Lord reaches the end of his regenerations they can pass their greatest abilties onto another person. In Rose's case it would be the ability to be a Time Lord. She has been altered from a human to a Time Lord which allows her to regenerate now and live just as long as the Doctor.
