Band on the Run.
Maybe.
I looked at Nicole in disgust. Roger had almost killed himself because of her. She had run off with a woman, leaving him to mourn and cry over her for a long time. No explanation, no note.
She left.
She left the Pink Floyd family. I couldn't believe her. She left me all alone. After everything we had been through.
David looked up at me and smiled softly. Nicole was crying in her hands; soft sobs filled the air. I couldn't believe her. She had no right to cry. It was her fault.
David invited her to stay with us. I didn't want to stay with her, so she roomed with Nick. She tried to talk to me, but I didn't allow it.
Nicole was basically dead to me.
David and I decided to leave the hotel and take a walk in the city. I needed time to cool off and to forget about this whole ordeal.
Looking in all the souvenir shops, David and I began discussing what we were to do about Nicole and Roger. They couldn't talk. We didn't want Roger to get back together just so she could run off.
That's when I found a pretty necklace with a blue stone hanging from it. It somehow reminded me of the childhood I had with Nicole...
