Awkwardness and Waterparks
Amberlyns POV:
The party was really fun, i was so happy Jack did this for me. That night when everyone left Sky stayed over. She left Jordan with her parents for the night and was gonna sleepover, this means girls night!. We sat on my bed and had a bowl of popcorn and had my macbook infront of us and we watched the rugrats, i love old nickalodean.
"So how was your day with Alex?" Sky asked me
"Fun" i said
"You didnt like kiss him right?" she asked
"No of course not!, he doesnt even know i like him" i said
"Well when are you gonna tell him!?" she said
"I dont no" i said
"Tell him, i mean damn. You've liked him for how long?. A few years right?. Plus you need a man" she said and i laughed
"I dont know i mean-" i started but was cut off by a knock on my door
"Lovelys im going next door for a bit, behave" Jack said walking in
"Mhm are you taking Gaskarth with you?" i said
"Yes" he said
"Okay" i said and he left and i heard him and Alex talking and then the door closed. It was silent in the house
"I think their both gone, which gives me a idea!" Sky said
"Your ideas are always like ridiculous" i said
"This one is fun, why dont we go snoop around in Alexs room?" she said
"Uhm why" i said
"Just to see if this boy is what he seems, y'know. I did it with my old boyfriends. You can really tell alot about a guy by whats in his room" she said
"Fine!, but lets not do this to long okay?" i said
"Yep" she said and we got up and left the room
We went into Alexs room and it was surprisingly clean, i for some reason always thought it'd be a mess. We looked through his stuff and there wasnt anything out of the ordinary. After a few minutes of looking through his stuff Sky started to dig through Alexs drawers, i gave her a glare.
"Dont do that!" i said
"Oh relax" she said pulling out a pair of his underwear
"Shocking Sky, he wears underwear. Who would have guessed!" i said sarcastic
"Whatever" she said
"Put them down thats really gros-" i started but got cut off by the front door opening
"Abort mission!" Sky said putting his underwear back and we ran out of the room and down the hall and almost smacked into Jack
"Woah there!" he said
"Sorry" i said
"Why are you two running?" he said
"No reason" i said and he seemed unconvinced but ignored it
"Whatever, i just came to get my phone. You two can go back to running laps of whatever you were doing" he said
"Alright" i said and he walked around us
We went back to my room and hungout for the rest of the night. The next morning i woke up and heard someone playing a guitar, i looked at the clock and it was 6:30 in the morning. Who the hell gets really early and plays guitar. I got out of bed and walked into the hall. The noise was coming from Alexs room, of course Jacks not the one making the noise he sleeps late. I walked over to Alexs door and walked in. He looked up surprised.
"Hey" he said
"Hey" i said
"Why are you up?" he asked
"I heard you playing, you?" i asked sitting on his bed
"Really!?, sorry!. And i couldnt sleep" he said
"Oh. So your first thought since you couldnt sleep was let me play guitar, normally people like watch tv or somthing but whatever" i said
"Yeah well ive been working on this song, i really wanna get it done" he said
"I see, can i hear it?" i asked
"As soon as its done" he said
"Can i hear what you have so far?" i asked
"No" he said yawning
"Sleepy?" i said
"Yes, i only slept 3 hours" he said
"Im tired to. Lets go back to bed" i said getting under the covers
"Uhmm...okay" he said putting his guitar down and lying down
After lying there for a few minutes Alex fell asleep. I turned to face the wall and soon after i fell asleep. A little while later i woke up and rolled over, Jack and Sky were standing at the foot of the bed and Jack had a cup of coffee near his mouth. They startled me.
"You guys!, you scared me" i said
"Sorry. Why are you in Alexs bed?" Jack said
"I came in here this morning since he woke me with his guitar playing. We both just fell asleep so dont go assuming stuff" i said sitting up
"Mkay. Alex. Wake the hell up!" Jack said
"No ugh go away- ah!" Alex said rolling over and leaning his head on my hip and he opened one eye and got startled also
"Good morning!" Sky said
"What are you two doing in here" Alex said sitting up
"Nothing. Just get up, get showered and dressed and pack whatever you need. Oh!, also wear a bathing suit" Jack said
"Where are we going?" i asked
"All of us plus Rian and Zack are going to a water park!" he said excited
"Sweet!, im showering first!" i said jumping out of the bed and running to the bathroom
After me and Alex were all set we left the house and picked up Rian and Zack, we stopped to get food before going to the water park. After about a hour drive we finally arrived. We got keys to lockers and put all our clothes and stuff away before walking around.
"Where to first?" Zack said
"I dont no" i said
"That giant water slide, it had a tube that will like fit all of us!" Jack said pointing up to it
"I hate heights you know that. I'll just sit that one out" i said
"Your going on!. You need to get over this stupid fear!" he said and dragged me to the slide
After waiting in line for ten minutes we got on the tube. I sat between Alex and Jack and Sky sat between Rian and Zack across from us, we had to sit like that so the tube wouldnt flip. My fear of heights has been raised. I felt like i was on the verge of a anxiety attack.
"Relax" Sky said
"I cant, i hate this, i hate you!" i said pointing to Jack
"Calm down, damn someone needs a xanax" Jack said
"Well i hate heights like this and you forced me on" i said
"Its called exposure therapy my dear" he said and i punched him in the arm
"Okay hang on you guys" the life guard person said and pushed the tube
"Ahhhh! i hate this!" i said grabbing the handle and grabbing onto Jacks arm
"Its okay your fine" he said putting his arm around me
"Ughh" i said
The water slide was absolutely terrifying, i felt like we were gonna like fall off the slide. And the fact that Rian thought it'd be fun to try to tip the tube didnt help. After we finally got off the slide i kicked Jack in the shin, he glared at me.
"What the hell!?" Jack said
"Thats for making me go on that thing!" i said
"Shes got one hell of a kick" Zack said
"Yeah" Alex laughed
