I watched Eli walk away to her class. She seemed.. different somehow, I couldn't quite place my finger on it. Maybe she was on her period. Oh God. I didn't even want to think about that. No. No no no no. Oh God.
She seemed... I dunno. Sadder? Than usual, if that was possible for her. But then she brightened up really quick when I asked if she was okay. Maybe she was just tired. That was probably it. I mean, she stays up late, and then she walked to school... Yeah she was probably tired. I wonder if her mom yelled at her again. I wsh so bad I could get her out of that house. With her mom yelling at her all the time. She acts like she doesn't care but I know it bothers her to be called all those things. At least she's away from her dad.
Just thinking about her dad makes me feel like I'm boiling on the inside. How dare anyone lay a hand on her.
