28. It Only Hurts Just Once - They're Only Broken Bones

“Where were you and what were you thinking?” Chiron yelled.
We were finally back at camp. I was hurt and extremely tired. I could probably sleep for days.
“Leave her alone,” Percy said. “She’s hurt.”
From what I saw I was being carried by Percy and Annabeth. I was now able to fully accept the fact that I was a demigod. Maybe I’ll be a goddess when I’m older. I mean, I am actually full god. But maybe I should stop thinking about that. I don’t want to get my hopes up and to my head.
“We need to get her to the Big House! Pronto!” Lee yelled. Well he was a healer.
“You should say Misses Fletcher!” an Apollo kid who happened to be walking by yelled.
Lee gave him a look. I couldn’t tell what it said. Fortunately he smiled afterward, a nice smile, too, to say they were just kidding. I managed a shrug.
