Her Letters

After reading all those letters, Lance didn't know that there were so many things that he had done wrong: he had turned a blind eye towards the feelings of his best friend and strained their relationship instead, he had hit on her friends, he had left her all alone for another girl, he had given her the flowers he was going to give to someone else and, worst of all, he had ignored her for months. He suddenly felt like a douchebag, an oblivious jerk and a fool for treating his best friend like that. Actually, he felt that he didn't deserve to be called her best friend after everything he put her through.

His heart suddenly ached and tears were already at the brim of his eyes. He clutched his shirt and bit his lip. His head hung low with his brows furrowed and his eyes closed tightly. The ache in his heart became more painful. He didn't know what to do; he found himself at a crossroad.

There were so many questions running through his head but the only question that mattered was, "How do I get my Lois Lane back?"
