A Summer to Remember

" Oh my god it's finally Summer!" Hannah said pulling all of the contents out of her locker and into her shoulder bag.
" I know.. it has actually gone quite quick" Megan said next to her, she was doing the exact same to her locker, " Do you still think about him?" Sally said peeking over Megan's locker
door. Sally was talking about Jake, Josh was Megan's ex boyfriend, they broke up messily around a year ago. Megan had a photo of them in her locker that she never took down
instead just hid it up with class notes and band posters. Hannah glared at Sally who knew she shouldn't of mentioned anything, Megan locked down at the floor still holding
onto her things, Sally cleared her throat, " I'm s.. sorry" she said shutting her locker, she faced Megan and smiled at her, Megan propped her head back up, " No it's fine, don't
worry, there's no point pretending like it didn't happen" she said showing a quick smile then pulling the photo off her locker and throwing it in the bin near her. " So come on, let's go,
we've got to start packing for Warped!" Megan said happily trying to take her mind of her ex.

Let me tell you something about Megan and her ex, Megan was dating Josh all of last year, they were amazing together and everyone always commented on how cute they
looked together. Megan met Josh through her brother Max, Josh was one of Max's best friends and who later on went to be one of his band mates. Josh started the band
" You Me At Six" and her brother Max was the rhythm guitarist and done backing vocals, whilst Josh was the main Vocalist. It wasn't a nice break up, Megan wanted to be in a
long commited relationship but Josh wasn't feeling it, he spent most of his time with his band and couldn't spend time with Megan this just caused arguments and Josh also missed
her 18th birthday due to work commitments. Max didn't like the idea of their relationship too, his best friend and his sister, ew no. So it ended there, Josh ended it with Megan
last summer she spent most of the summer down about it and she didn't think she would ever find anyone else amazing as Josh Franceschi.

The three girls all went back to Sally's house, her parents were out of town, so they could have a girly night in, drinking, films that kind of thing.
they all sat down on the two large leather couches in the middle of the living room and switched on the telly, it was on Kerrang! music channel, " Ugh I cannot fucking wait till Warped"
Hannah said letting out an exhaust sigh, " it's only 3 more days.. this is going to be the best summer ever!" Sally said kicking her legs in the air nearly falling off the couch, the three
girls laughed as Sally nearly fell off the couch.
" Woah woah, ssh be quiet!" Megan said shushing Hannah and Sally, " What.." Sally said sitting back down sensibily looking confused, " Look!" Megan said pointing to the telly.
" The line up for warped, the official line up!" Megan said pointing at the screen making sure she had everyones attention. " Oh my god ,yay" Hannah said opening her eyes wider at
the screen.
" So let's see who are officially playing at this years Warped tour!" the announcer said, " Please bring me the horizon.." Hannah said whispering to herself, Sally and Megan glared
at her like she was some crazy woman, well she was, they all were.
Just then Megan's brother Max walked into the living room, " why the hell are you here!?" Megan said raising her eyebrows at Max's entrance, " Oh nice to see you too sis!" He said
he had a beer in his hand and a cigarette in the other, " Mum's going to kill you if you get that on the floor.." Megan said sounding like a bossy boots. Hannah and Sally were
staring at the screen trying to dodge Megan and Max blocking the view. " Oh sweet, the warped line up!" Max said laughing, " why are you laughing.." Megan said looking confused.
" cause it's going to be fucking awesome!" He said puffing on his cigarette, " why you're not going.." Megan said looking even more confused, " Are you me at six playing?" Hannah
asked from the sofa, Max turned to answer the question, " Yes of course!" he said with a big grin on his face, " no, you would of told me!?" Megan said staring at Max, " why would
I need to tell you that?.." he said taking a chug of his beer.
" And now we're going to have a quick chat with the lead singer of You Me At Six, Josh Franceschi" the woman on the telly said sitting next to Josh... that guy.

" Oh right.. yeah" Max said nodding his head, Megan looked disgusted, Hannah and Sally didn't know what to say so they were all staring at Megan waiting for her to react.
" Sorry Meg..." Max said trying to comfort his sister by putting his arm around her, Hannah quickly held his beer before he dropped it causing even more problems, " But I can't go
now.. he's going to be there!" Megan said pointing at Josh's smirk expression on the telly, " what it doesn't matter! if he's there, we don't have to see them do we?" Sally said walking
to Megan's side, " Yeah, we can just not watch them" Hannah said about to take a sip of Max's beer before he grabbed it back off her, " Aw but.. don't you want me to come see you
Max?" Megan said looking up at her brother, " Nah.. don't worry about me, theres plently of people coming, see who you want too, just cause I'm your brother doesn't mean you have
to follow me around!" Max picked up his phone from the side and walked upstairs, " See, don't worry there's nothing that could ruin our summer!" Hannah said hugging Megan.
Megan smiled.

" Yeah! Now.. Let the fun begin" Sally said with a smirk.
