The Search for a Pauper in a Field of Princes
Okay I’m not one of those girls that want a prince charming. Because unlike Disney I see all the faults in the ones they have made for us to chase after. Aladdin, although very cute, is a compulsive liar. Beast was verbally aggressive and violent. Prince Charming only wanted a trophy wife. The prince from snow white likes somnophilia. Prince Eric spent all his time looking for perfection. Simba won’t get a job, Li Shang gets mad if you aren’t a guy, and John Smith and his friends never leave your house. Peter Pan had a girl on the side. And let’s not forget Hercules who likes his car more than you.
I just want a guy… not a prince, so I don’t see why I have to have such terrible luck when all the girls get princes and I get... nothing, nada, rien. OH well this is my story, of how I tried to find and pauper in a field of princes.
