Please Won't You Push Me for the Last Time

Tear this place apart until you find me hiding, silently I wait.

Lindsay's POV

"Guys, we need to make this a good show. It's our first one so please perform with your all like you guys planned to. This isn't practice anymore." I told them while helping them get ready and made sure their ear pieces were in. Today was our first show and we were all nervous.

I had to be at the merch booth in ten minutes so I was extremely nervous. This is the first time I get to see them perform with all their energy put into the set. I had so much faith in my boys. I've been there when they first got the band together, though at the time, Tony and Jaime weren't members yet.

Things certainly changed in the course of three weeks. Last week, we were celebrating that they got signed. The week before that, they were working on an EP and finished it, while hanging out with Jamie and myself and tending to our every need. I started to think of how different things would be right now if the boys didn't get signed as I made my way to the merch booth.

I was going to be working it by myself since Jamie wanted to watch her man play on stage for the first time in front of a big crowd. I didn't mind because we really don't have a lot of merch and also no one knows who we are just yet.

I heard Vic introduce themselves then start the beginning of Chemical Kids and Mechanical Brides. After that, I couldn't pay attention to my boys. I had a few kids come up and buy some merch. I even gave them a copy of our EP.

After a few songs, I heard Vic get on the mike again.

"Before we start this next song, I would like to dedicate it to someone very special to us. She has been with us from the very beginning. She has supported us with everything and has helped us get to where we are right now. Hell you guys wouldn't even be able to get our merch if she wasn't here. Lindsay, I know you are watching because I see you from here. Everyone, she is the someone special I was talking about. She's the woman behind the merch booth, working it. Well Lindsay, I dedicate this song to you." he said and blew a kiss towards me. I couldn't help but blush as he started to sing Yeah Boy and Doll Face.

"Were you honest when you said,
"I could never leave your bed",
Wake me up and let me know you're alive.
And will you fall in love again?
Is the scent slowly spreading?
I've been answering machines all night."

I felt honored and shocked that Vic dedicated my favorite song so far to me. During the song, the guys were all looking at me. Well except Jaime, he was looking at Jamie. I knew this was my family. I don't know where or what I would be doing right now if I didn't meet them.

Mike's POV

I had told Vic to dedicate Yeah Boy and Doll Face to Lindsay because I knew that was her favorite song, well besides Chemical Kids and Mechanical brides- only because she got to name it. Lindsay has been there for us since we first started the band, way before we got Tony and Jaime, before we became Pierce The Veil.

As we started the song, I saw that Lindsay was blushing and that was the cutest thing I've ever seen. We finished the song and waved bye to everyone since that was the last song of our set. I got off the stage and went straight to the merch booth.

"What did you think?" I asked her when I finally got to the booth, smiling.

"Mikey, that was fucking amazing! I'm glad I was able to come and be a part of this." She said to me, pulling me into the biggest bear hug ever.

"I'm glad you liked it. I told Vic to dedicate that song to you because I know it's your favorite song." I told her while still holding her in the hug. I couldn't help but smile. With Lindsay, everything just felt right. It's like we are perfect for each other.

"Well I'm glad you remembered that. I think you are the only one who remembers thing like that." Lindsay said, smiling from ear to ear as she pulled away.
