Helia Heather is a free runner and her best friend is a Scotchman named Andrew McLarin. Her grades aren't that bad and she's in senior year of high school. Just an ordinary girl, she thought. But she isn't.
Things change dramatically as she runs into a wall during a free running race with Andrew. Her eyes turn red, her senses increase remarkably and she can stand terribly heats. A vampire named Utagai shows up and tries to abduct her. Suddenly Andrew appears to be a shape shifter who came to the United States to protect her from harm, like Utagai.
Helia doesn't understand what all this fuss is about, until she hears that she's special. Very special.
