Chapter 10~Party Time!

Dannys’ lips clashed with mine. For some reason, I didn’t pull away.
As sudden as it happened, Danny pulled away. He raised his eyebrows, and then smiled. He looked away and took a drink of his Cola. I started laughing.
Dannys’ head snapped toward me. “Why you laughing?”
“I knew that was gonna happen,” I stated boldly.
“WHAT?!”
“I said: ‘I knew that was gonna happen’. Don’t your ears work?”
Danny just looked at me, his face clearly saying: ‘what the fuck?’ “How? I made my decision just a few seconds ago!”
“Do you remember that dude you made out with in high school? The first one?” I looked at him, my best serious face on.
“Yeah-wait, how’d you know about that?!” Danny looked ‘bout ready to kill me.
“That dude you made out with? He was my best friend.”
Danny looked like I just dropped a bomb on him. Maybe I did.
“Yeah. It’s so true, Daniel. He even tried to make out with me after he told me about making out with you. He failed. Epically.”
“Wait, wait, wait-did he tell that he specifically made out with me? Like, did he say, ‘Danny?’”
“Yeah. I ignored him though. He called me just before I came here, and told me again. I heeded his warning, and prepared myself. Thats’ why I stayed behind, so you can ‘get it outta your system’.”
“You serious?”
“Yep. I’m an awesome friend, aren’t I?”
“Woah, you...?”
I turned to look at him. “No, not make out, but kiss. And my job is done.” I took a victory sip of my Coke.
“Your job is NOT done.”
“What?” I asked.
“I want to get this outta my system before it blows up in my face. Theres’ only one person in the world who can give me what I want.” Suddenly, he pinned my shoulders to the head board, and strattled my legs. “And thats’ you.”
