Dark and Rainy Nights

I became a damp mess as I reached his house. It was only a few blocks away from my place though the rain was gushing from the sky like a burst water main.

I didn't care how I looked.

I only cared about seeing the man that's made me the happiest I've ever been.

The only thing standing between me and him was another tree.

The rain, wind and ever approaching lightning made the normally easy climb that much more difficult.

But I didn't care.

My want to see him was powerful than anything this storm could throw at me. And believe me, it was trying.
