Fiona Kingsley is impatient, sarcastic, and almost always angry at something.
It isn’t enough that she’s having a bad start of term, start of September, start of being single again. There’s also the annoying, clumsy boy that has taken up residence on her sofa because it’s closer to his work, an enthusiastic, slightly obnoxious flatmate that never goes out with the same girl twice, a best friend who’s too nice for her own good, and the constant disapproval of her parents for her to deal with.
Despite being confident in the fact that she’s the most pessimistic person in the room at any given time, Fiona has somehow amassed an odd group of friends that balance the scale with their own (usually) upbeat personas, perhaps proving the idea that opposites really do attract.
An AU in which Harry is an aspiring chef, Niall knows more about politics than he does girls, Zayn’s got everything figured out, Louis is too lazy to study, and Liam is worth more than he gets credit for.
