Midnight

Up all night.

"Are we almost done here?" Harry asked, walking into Londyn's hotel room looking more out together than normal.

The group had arrived in California pretty early in the morning and besides a short nap and a quick bite to eat, they have done nothing get ready for the awards show. Which was fine withLondyn, just being over in the states did something to her. She felt like her old self again.

"Almost."

"Seriously, is all this make up necessary? She's rather pretty without it, so let's not make her look like a clown." He joked and Trisha, the boys stylist, glared at him causing him to laugh. Although Trisha had blue hair and a nose ring which Londyn was a bit intimidated by at first, she turned out to be the sweetest person Londyn could have hoped for.

Harry sighed as he sat on the bed in boredom, his eyes surveying the room for entertainment.

"Calm down." Londyn stated causing Trisha to laugh as she told the girl to go to the bathroom to change into her dress.

"She's going to look amazing." Trisha gushed and Harry chuckled, "I'm sure."

A few minutes later Londyn walked out and Harry perked up. His eyes met her and he really couldn't find the right words to use. He never was good at compliments he truly meant.

"Yep. I'm good." Trisha joked and Londyn laughed.

"Don't you think so, Harry?"

Harry nodded unable to take his eyes off the girl before him. Not that he ever thought she wasn't pretty, but that with the combination of the short red dress she had on just did something to him.

"So we can go?" He asked excitedly as he grabbed for the girl's hand.

"Wait..." Trisha replied and he whined as he let Londyn pull them over to Trisha. He sat in the seat Londyn sat in a few minutes ago, his hand still attached to hers as she stood beside him letting the girl put something on her lips. He rested his chin in his free hand as he watched.

"I feel like this is to torture me."

Trisha laughed, "We are done. But now I need a picture."

"To show everyone so you can gloat over your own work?" He asked as Londyn told him to stand up.

"Exactly."

Harry sighed adjusting the hat on his head before placing his arm around the girl's waist.

"I feel like this is a school dance."

Londyn started laughing causing Harry to chuckle.

"Smile or you aren't leaving." Trisha said seriously and Harry whined before smiling like it wasn't forced. He was definitely good at that.

"Thank you. Was that so hard?"

"Probably." Londyn grumbled and Harry glared at her. She ignored him and hit his hat causing him to grab her immediately, "Watch it before I mess up your face."

"Sounds pretty violent."

"Could be."

She rolled her eyes and kissed his cheek causing her immediately to laugh and his mouth dropped open, "If there is lipstick on me you may die."

"Doubtful."

"Londyn! Get this shit off me!"

"Red may be your color." She teased and his eyes narrowed at her.

"You started it."

"Get it off."

"Here, this will get it off." Trisha said through her laughter as she handed the girl some make up remover.

"Sit down loser."

He rolled his eyes before sitting in the chair.

"You're such a baby."

He didn't respond as she focused on getting the makeup off. He poked her side causing her to jump and he chuckled.

"Harry, do you want this off or not?!"

"Yeah." He snickered and she continued to take off the lipstick which only took a few seconds.

"There. Let's go."

"Jerk." He mumbled as he moved from the chair.

"Bye Trisha. Have a wonderful day." He said sarcastically and the girl rolled her eyes. Harry laughed and he grabbed up Londyn's hand once more as she thanked Trisha for everything.

"Oh! my bag." She spoke pulling from Harry and running to the bathroom. Harry groaned causing Trisha to laugh, "I like her. She's sweet."

"Yeah, she is."

"And gorgeous!"

"Yeah, she is." Harry looked over at Trisha who smirked and he rolled his eyes, "No, it's not like that."

"Why can't it be?!"

"Because, we all know how well I ruin things."

"Yeah, but you are different with her..."

Harry shrugged as Londyn headed to the door, "Come on Mr. Styles."

Harry rolled his eyes and said goodbye to Trisha before following the girl.

"Where are the guys?" She asked and he grabbed her hand, pulling her to the elevator.

"Downstairs waiting on us."

"Are we late?"

"Nah, it's fine." He replied, pressing the button for the first floor. Once they stepped off, she could hear the guys although she couldn't see them yet. Which really wasn't that surprising.

"Well hello." Zayn spoke with a smile, "You look beautiful if I say so myself."

She chuckled, "Thank you."

"That may in fact be an understatement." Niall spoke up, flashing her a smile as he moved from his seat.

"Did you guys try to all wear black?" She asked trying not to blush from all the attention.

"Well no, but apparently so..." Louis replied with a chuckle as they headed to the limo that waited on them.

Harry held onto her, afraid to lose her in the world wind of teenagers that now surrounded the hotel. Once inside she let out a sigh causing Louis to laugh, "It's a lot. I know. It'll be better once we are there."

"Nervous?"

"Why would I be nervous? No one there wants to see me!"

Harry chuckled, "You'd be surprised."

"Yeah, since you're Harry's new main squeeze and all."

"Oh right. I forgot."

Harry scoffed, "No one would be able to forget that..."

"They are dating Harry Styles." She said at the same time as him and Louis started laughing, "She knows you all too well I see."

Londyn giggled and Harry tired to fight back a smile as she nudged him lightly. Once they arrived she couldn't help but be a bit nervous. The idea of tons of people looking at her made her nervous. Then again who wouldn't be?!

Harry grabbed her hand helping her out, "The cameras will be intense. But, I'm not going to let you go. Well, I may have to for a picture or two, but I won't be too far." He spoke flashing her a smile before they reached the guys at the entrance who apparently were to anxious to wait on them.

"Well fancy meeting you here." Louis joked as he wiggled his eyebrows causing her to laugh.

"Be my date." He asked holding his arm out for her, "After all, you are sitting beside me and I'm more entertaining so..."

"Say no more." She chuckled as she linked arms with him.

"People are going to think she's our groupie now." Louis joked and she laughed, "Probably."

"Nah, actually you two favor a bit, so they may think you're related." Niall stated and Louis shot him a look.

"Oh and plus, you have a girlfriend I've never met and this probably won't be a good start...so...nevermind."

"I mean in that case you can just hang with me because I believe my girlfriend would actually date you." Liam joked causing them to laugh. Before anything else could be said their manager walked up to them. He looked like a completely normal guy, and she didn't think she had ever seen him before today.

"Ok guys, pictures, a little chatting and inside in 20, got it?" He stated and the guys all nodded.

"This is Julie, their assistant, you can stand with her while they do all the boring stuff." He added with a grin as the blonde, petite woman beside him waved.

Julie and Londyn followed behind the guys and the woman honestly made Londyn more comfortable. She was a bit chatty so it distracted her which was nice.

Londyn didn't even realize the amount of time that had passed until Harry came up to her, "Come on, love. You ready?"

"Oh yeah." She stated grabbing his hand and he flashed a smile, "Thanks Juls for keeping her company."

"Oh no problem she's lovely."

Londyn blushed and said goodbye before they headed towards another door.

"What's up with your hair?" She asked chuckling and he looked at her, "My hat fell off earlier, what's wrong with it?"

"Just sticking out on the sides..." She said trying to fix it since they had to wait for a few people to move.

"See, the guys would have just let me go around like that."

She laughed before he grabbed up her hand to pull her through the crowd. They finally made it to their seats right as the guys were sitting down. She sat down between Louis and Harry like she had planned and Niall leaned forward in order to talk, "Here. You may need this." He stated handing her a glass of who knows what.

"Oh thanks."

He smiled before relaxing back in his seat and almost immediately Harry took the drink from her and she watched him take a sip, "It's just vodka."

"Were we worried it was poison?"

He rolled his eyes and handed her the drink back.

Louis laughed beside her, "You two crack me up."

"I'm so glad." She joked, "Oh do you guys perform?"

"We do."

"And what are you singing?"

"Night changes. We sang it at that concert. So you've heard it."

"Actually it's the only song I know."

"And how is that?"

"Well, I liked it, so I bought it on iTunes."

"Just that one?"

"Hey! Be honored."

"Oh I am." Louis replied through his laughter.

"So are you guys going to like win an award?" She asked Harry and he laughed, "Maybe."

"I'm sure you will."

He chuckled, "I guess we will see."

She smiled and he gave her hand a squeeze. Of course them winning an award was an understatement which she figured out ahead of time. They were just surprisingly modest. And of course Harry was right, sitting next to Louis was the best decision she could have made. They laughed basically the whole show although that could have been slightly due to the alcohol.

"Ok, we are going backstage, about to perform." Harry spoke to her before pressing his lips to her cheek, "Don't get into any trouble, yeah?"

She shoved him lightly and he laughed as he follows the guys to where they were suppose to go. It wasn't a few minutes afterwards that they were on stage and she couldn't help but smile as they performed. She couldn't help but be proud of how well they were doing in their career and really how they were able to stay great people through all of it. At least they were to her. Once the song was over they were back in there seats within ten minutes and Harry smiled at her immediately.

"You guys did good." She spoke feeling as if he needed confirmation which was silly really.

"Thank you."

"I'm really proud of you. Seriously." She said and he laughed, "Why?"

"Because, you some how manage to stay sane through all this."

He shrugged, "It's all I really know."

"You wanna know why I like that song?"

"Why?" He asked placing his chin on the palm of his hand as his elbow rested on the arm rest. A playful grin now covering his face.

"Because of you."

"Because of me?"

"You just may be my favorite singer in this group, Harry. Don't tell the others." She whispered and his grin turned into one of his dimpled smiles.

"Ah I knew there was a reason why you were my favorite girl." He replied kissing the top of her hand.

The rest of the show didn't seem to last too long and before she knew it they were trying to get out of the building which was proving to be harder than she thought. Especially with people stopping and telling the guys hello and what not. Which meant Harry kept a firm grip on her waist in fear of losing her in the crowd.

"We usually go to a party afterwards, are you ok with that?" He asked and she nodded, "Sure."

"Where is this party?" She questioned and he spoke, "Like 2 miles from here at some venue."

"Who's party is it?"

"I really don't know. I think the award show is just hosting it."

"What do you know?" She teased and he chuckled, "I know we are going!"

"I think I'm going to get lost or something..." Niall said finally catching up to them. She laughed and grabbed his wrist as Harry pulled them through the crowd.

"Scary times." Niall said trying to compose himself as they reached the street.

"Where are the others?"

"Let's just wait right here for a minute."

"Oh my god!" They heard and turned to see Louis walking over, "Pure madness!"

She couldn't help but laugh at the same time Liam arrived pulling Zayn by his arm.

"You ok guys?"

"Barely." Zayn replied, adjusting his shirt.

"Now how do we find our ride?"

""Follow me." Harry spoke and they did as told only to find the limo they arrived in.

"So did you see your favorite singer?!" Louis teased and she laughed, "uh, well I don't listen to music on the radio..."

"And she doesn't know what any celebrity looks like." Harry joked and she glared at him.

"Hey if this was the Oscars I would be freaking out."

"And why is that?!"

"Because, somewhere in the room would be Benedict Cumberbatch."

"Seriously? What is up with you and Englishmen?" Louis asked as he gestured to Harry.

"No, Benedict is a top notch Englishman."

"And what am I?!"

"That's questionable."

Harry shot her a look and she giggled, "Kidding."

"Mhm whatever."

They arrived at the place not too long after leaving the award show. She was thankful it was a lot more chill of an event.

"Come on, let's go get a drink." Niall immediately said once they walked in and Londyn told Harry she would bring him something back as Niall pulled her away.

"I hope it hasn't been too boring for you." Niall stated as they waited to order drinks.

"No, it's been rather entertaining...maybe that's just because of Louis but still..."

He laughed, "Yes he can be rather funny when he wants to be."

And she just simply stared at him until she forced herself to nod, "Sorry, your accent is really attractive. I can't even concentrate."

Niall threw his head back with laughter, "Well thank you."

She nodded as a bartender asked for their drink order. Once he walked away Niall began talking, "So, are you and Harry like..."

"Like? Dating? No."

"Really? Well, do you like him?"

"Yes, but not in that manner." She replied with a smile and he chuckled, "There is a first for everything I see."

"I guess so."

The bartender reappeared in front of them and Niall quickly paid for all the drinks before she even had a chance to.

"Thank you."

"No problem, now how to carry all this..." He replied thumping his finger against his chin in thought.

"I can get three you carry the others."

"This should be interesting."

Londyn and Niall laughed the whole way back to the table the guys now resided at. She was just happy neither of them dropped anything.

"Zayn I'm pretty sure this is yours." She said urging for him to grab the drink she had between her arm and body hoping it wouldn't fall.

He hesitated as he tried to think logically how to grab it and Harry rolled his eyes, "Bloody hell." He picked up the drink and handed it to Zayn.

"Sorry! I didn't want to accidentally inappropriately touch her!"

"Thank you, Zayn." She chuckled sliding Harry's drink to him.

"I would say we usually mingle and what not but well, some of us aren't very social..." Liam said looking at Zayn.

Londyn laughed, "It's ok, I'm the same way. In fact they say the smartest people are usually the observers."

"Exactly, and we can sit and observe together."

She chuckled as she looked around the room, she really needed to buy a magazine or something. It was sad how she didn't know who anyone was.

"Is our friend Tay gonna be here?" Niall joked and Harry rolled his eyes, "Who knows, and even so if she is she probably wants to beat up Louis and Londyn for laughing through her whole performance."

"I blame Louis." She mumbled and Louis laughed, "It was funny!"

"Plus, my money is on Londyn." Zayn replied with a shrug.

Harry scoffed, "Londyn loves Taylor so she's not fighting her."

"Correction. Loved. You ruined that for me, thanks." She stated and the guys laughed.

"How?! Just because we dated?"

"Yes, because now that I know all those songs are about you it kind of ruins it for me."

Liam snickered, "I'm sorry, that's hilarious."

"Whatever." Harry grumbled crossing his arms.

She chuckled rubbing his back with her hand, "it's ok Harry, I still love you."

"Well, I'm going to scout the premises..." Louis stated and Liam jumped up, "I'll go."

"Let's dance!" Harry said excitedly and she raised an eyebrow at him, "Well we just got these drinks."

"Well drink it!"

"I can't like down an alcoholic beverage in two seconds!"

"Sure you can, you're American."

She shot him a look and he took another drink of his whiskey and coke.

"Come on girl."

The glasses weren't even that big so she could drink it quickly but still...

"Harry, 5 minutes."

"3."

"4."

"No."

She whined and he finished off his drink.

"Sometimes I don't like you." She replied, before doing the same and he smiled as he grabbed her hand.

"But I like you, so that's sad." He joked and she tried not to laugh.

"Does this feel like a glamored prom?" She asked and he laughed, "of course well usually I'm a bit intoxicated at this point."

"And why aren't you now?" She asked chuckling.

"Because you're here and I enjoy your company without alcohol."

"So sweet of you Harry." She replied with a grin as he spun her around causing her to laugh.

"I don't think I've said this to you yet, but you look stunning tonight."

A blush hit her cheeks, "Thank you."

He nodded with a grin and pulled her in causing her eyes to meet his, "I feel like we are being stared at."

"Oh, by a group of girls at the bar?" She whispered back and he nodded, "Good observation."

"They are probably like, oh my god, that girl is crazy. She must be such a slut to be here with him!"

Harry laughed, "Probably. They are probably doing the girl thing which is trying to find something wrong with you because no one can be that pretty and be normal can they?" He asked spinning her around not caring who was watching.

"I would say I'm pretty normal."

"Mhm, normal in a sense I guess."

She rolled her eyes and he pulled her to a stop.

"How about we get another drink and find the guys?"

"Sure, these heels are cute but not fun."

He laughed as he pulled her off the floor and to the bar, ignoring the girls down at the other end. Sometimes he felt like it was high school all over again.

"Should I introduce myself?" She asked jokingly and he laughed, "I would probably die if you did."

"It would be funny, but I'm not. I've been out of school way too long." She replied before taking a drink of the beverage Harry got her.

"And the alcohol has chilled you?"

"Exactly."

He chuckled sitting in the chair beside him and she did the same.

"Can we please look at Niall." She said pointing behind Harry and he spun around to see the guy dancing ridiculously with some people he didn't know.

Harry laughed, "Not surprising. It's the Irish in him. He also can drink all of us under the table. Still think he's cute?"

"Yep." She replied through her laughter. The rest of the night passed by quickly. With the crowds of people, the alcohol and the guys she wasn't even aware when it was two in the morning.

"Harry." Londyn spoke, placing her arms around his torso from the side.

"Hey you." He whispered sliding his arm around her, pulling her in closer. He had way too much to drink, and he was starting to wind down and want to just go home.

"I'm pretty much exhausted and my feet are killing me." She mumbled into his shirt and he chuckled, "I'm exhausted too; my feet however are fine."

She looked up at him with a pout and he swiftly picked her up by her waist and sat her in the chair.

"Not like this is a short dress or anything." She stated trying to pull it down on her legs some.

"I'm standing in front of you, so no one would have seen anything."

She sighed crossing one leg over the other and he placed his arm on the back of the chair she sat in.

"What exactly are we waiting for?" She asked and be laughed, "Liam went to the restroom."

"Stupid Liam." She mumbled and he laughed, "Any minute now we will be leaving." He replied his fingers playing with her hair.

"And then we can sleep."

"Yes we can sleep wherever you'd like!...well, maybe my room. I feel like even in a hotel your room will be oddly bright in the morning..."

She chuckled, "Fine."

"You're so much less stubborn when you drink."

She shrugged, "and you're so much less a jerk."

He chuckled, as Liam walked back up.

"Finally, let's go." Harry stated holding Londyn's hands to help her from the chair.

She held onto Harry's hand, letting him lead the way as they headed back to their ride. Once seated she immediately took off her heels.

"Being a girl sucks."

Harry laughed, "I wouldn't know."

"Debatable." Louis joked as he laughed. He was a bit intoxicated and she had to admit he was just as funny drunk as he was sober.

She giggled as she relaxed her head on Harry's shoulder.

"Funny."

"He's still a grump even after several drinks I see."

"Yeah, he needs to get laid. He's been hanging out with you too much to do so."

"Not true." Harry mumbled as the car came to a stop. She didn't even realize they were back at the hotel.

"Not going to put your shoes back on?" Harry asked as Louis got out.

"No. I would rather step on glass than go through that torture."

He laughed as he hopped out before helping her down.

"You have really small feet." He said chuckling. He just now noticed actually.

"Uh, thanks?" She said laughing and he ushered her to the elevator.

"Uh, I just want out of this dress and this make up." She replied as he pressed the button for the 5th floor.

Harry chuckled beside her, "You're not a normal girl, Lon."

"I don't even care."

He let out a laugh as the elevator beeped and the doors slid open.

"Look, do what you've gotta so and come over when your done. Well, nevermind, I'll wait on you." He stated as he helped her open the door to her room.

"I'm not stupid you know?"

"I know you're not. But you are intoxicated and I don't want anything to happen to you."

"So two drunks make a right?"

"Well yeah."

She laughed as she motioned for him to unzip her dress.

"Ok, now turn around."

He rolled his eyes but did as told.

"Are you that kind of girl that wears matching undergarments?" He asked and she scoffed, "No, afraid not. Something tells me Tay is though."

Harry started to laugh immediately and she couldn't help but do the same.

"Stop laughing! You're distracting me! And you can turn around again."

He turned around and she had already pulled her hair up and changed into pajamas. A smile crept onto his lips and he wasn't even sure why. He just liked who she was.

She went into the bathroom, quickly scrubbed off the makeup and brushing her teeth. To no surprise, once done, she found Harry at the door.

"Ok."

"Ok! Back to looking younger than me." He teased grabbing her hand and pulling her out the door. Of course once in his room it didn't take no time for him to get comfortable. She must have been right, being a girl didn't look fun. As she climbed into his bed he turned the light off before joining her.

"So sleepy." He mumbled and she giggled beside him. He slid his hand to her side, pushing her to him, he liked sleeping close to her now and she didn't seem to mind.

"I'm glad you came with us."

"To fight off all your high profile exes?" She teased and he laughed, "Yes. Exactly."

She giggled and he pressed his lips to her temple.

"Sweet dream, darling." He whispered against her hair and that was the last thing she heard before she fell asleep.
