Cole isn't a big fan of love but doesn't have much of a choice when his mom dies. He never knew his mom was Cupid or that she used to be immortal. He was just now learning that she had chosen love over a mortality when she broke the rules and married his dad so now then he was gone, he was next in line.
So he takes the fighting chance to make his immediate family immortal again to save his father's life. To do that though, he must first pair whichever girl is chosen. The test sounds rather easy to Cole seeing as he will now have the power of Cupid.
