Different Worlds 25 (Matt's POV)
Before I say anything to Jazmin, the McDonalds Drive Tru worker questions "Hello welcome to McDonalds and how can we take your order?" Jazmin smiles while ordering "Twenty piece chicken nuggets with medium fries, one chicken sandwich, BBQ sauce and a medium strawberry and banana smoothie." I look at Jazmin musing "You must be that hungry...god damn." She answers "I haven't ate this morning." Next the worker asks "Sir, your order?"
I reply "Just a bottle of water...that is all." Jazmin whispers "Have you eaten today Matt?" I nod while answering "Yes some tacos and nachos plus I have some leftovers in a bag." She mutters "Lucky." I chuckle and the drive thru worker announces "Alright your order is $10.50 so please roll up to the window."
I roll up to the window and Jazmin gives me her money to pay for it at the window. I give it to the worker and the worker gives me the bag and the change with Jazmin's order. I give the change to Jazmin and the order towards her. I thank the worker "Thank you." and sped away.
