Huh. I wonder if she had any relation to that bald substitute teacher...

"I heard you're dating Derek Donner."

"Dirk. Yeah."

And she just kind of left.

I don't like Jenny.

She's kind of a bitch.

I was about to wonder why everyone thinks I'm a lesbian.

But I thought better.

It's the baggy clothes.

And besides, they think all the losers are gay around here.

Because it's an "insult".

Made me think of Caleb.

Poor little guy.

He wasn't here today.

Brian came over with some of his girl-posse and asked for him.

"I have no idea where he is. Must be sick."

I felt sort of lonely. I don't like it when K doesn't come to school.

I guess you could say he's almost my best friend.

It's nice to know I have one.

Then I thought of Brian and his girl-posse again.

Does he like hanging around with girls?

Or is it just because none of the other boys want to hang around with him?

Maybe he does want to have friends who are guys.

It's kind of confusing, because he does have Caleb to hang around with, but Caleb's a boyfriend, not a "friend who is a boy".

There's a crazy huge difference, you know.

Mr. Geiger's all hyped up special angle relationships or something.

I wasn't really paying attention today, and when I thought of the term it made me laugh.

Special angle relationships.

That sounds pretty kinky, doesn't it?

I kept getting shushed at by some Nerd Chick sitting next to me.

I forgot her name, but sheesh. What a dork.

I was just kind of laughing.

But God forbid she lose an ounce of information about her precious special angle relationships.

Seriously, who the hell came up with that?

What a pervert.

I saw Dirk walking through the halls and tried to say hi, but he just kind of brushed past me. He looked a little pissed. Either that or really deep in thought. I didn't get a very good look at him because he walked by so quickly.

He's an oddball.

A mental case.

I think he really might be.

Because he knows who Connie is.

Speaking of Connie, she's visiting her sister in Florida or whatever, so I won't be seeing her all week.

Maybe that's why Dirk is angry.

I dunno.

It made me kind of worried, though.
