Chapter five
Part Five:
I woke up. On my own, might I add. No buckets of water this morning or two men in my bed. Even though that was a nice surprise. I felt around me. Oh shit, I fell asleep on the couch last night. I did have a blanket. Ah, I keep forgetting how much I like it to have Ville around, bless him. He is more caring than most guys. I stretched and stood up. Time for a shower.. I thought to myself. "Hey, you’re up! " Came Villes voice from the stairs. "Yeah, is it that late? " He laughed. "No, but with the noise all the guys are producing I’d be surprised you even slept at all! " I mentally slapped myself. "That’s right, the party is tonight! How’s it looking? " "A lot better than you’re smelling.. " Came Novak’s voice. I rolled my eyes. "Freaking funny Novie, I was just on my way to the shower, so keep your panties on okay? " "He’s gone already.. " Ville said. I sighed. "Jesus, if these boys could focus for more than one second, life would be so good.. " He laughed. "Ah, you love them, don’t deny it, it’s who they are.. " I shrugged. "Okay, point made.. " I felt if I was near the stairs already and made my way upstairs. I knocked on a bathroom door. "What!? " Bam said from the inside. "Oh sorry Bammle, just wanted to take a shower but I’ll take the other bathroom. " He laughed. "You can come in you know.. it’s not like you’ll see anything.. " From any other person this remark would have hurt so bad. But from Bam, it didn’t it was just like any other of his jokes. I laughed. "Yeah, but you’ll be able to! " It was silent for a minute. "So!? " I couldn’t help but snicker. What if I just did it. I mean, they all saw me naked once and it isn’t like they never saw a female body before.. See what his reaction is. I knocked on the door. "Well? Open up then..! " There was silence.. Insert my snickering here. The door opened and I walked in. "Good morning Bammle! " I said cheery. " G-morning.. " He replied. I could hear the confusion in his voice. I turned on the shower and went over to the closet so I could grab a towel. "I’m looking forward to the party tonight.. " I said in more normal voice this time. "What are you going to be? " I said, nudging him in his side. " He seemed to loosen up a little. But while he talked I undressed under the towel I had wrapped around my body "Hah, not going to tell you! You’ll have to wait like everyone else! I pouted. "Damn.. " He laughed and wrapped his arms around my neck. I felt his bare chest against my back "Sowwy Chase.. " He said in my ear. I couldn’t help but shiver when he whispered in my ear. Oh damn.. did I just do that..? It was silent for a minute. "I’m cold.. shooweeer! " I said quickly. He let go of me and laughed. But he stopped when I stepped into the shower and dropped the towel out the door. Now it was my turn to laugh. "Didn’t think I would do it did ya? " I said snickering. "Well uhh.. no..? " He said questioningly. "See, that’s why we don’t leave the thinking up to you! " I said while washing. "HEY! " He replied. "That was not nice!! " He pouted. "Aww..sowwy Bammle.. " I said mocking him. He huffed.
~Bam’s POV~
It still didn’t sink in. The girl that was on my mind constantly for the past months was naked in the shower next to me. Should I look? Nah.. that would really be rude. And with the way she always knows everything she’ll probably know I’m looking within the first 5 seconds. I finished my business and wanted to walk out. But I really couldn’t help myself. I stood on the toilet and looked over the shower. I only saw her back. She had her face under the showerhead. I found myself blushing and stepped down immediately. I had the water still running to cover myself. So I turned it off and spoke. "I’m done, bathroom’s yours now Chase, I’ll see you downstairs okay? " I got a single "Hmm" as reply. I walked out the door and closed it.
"Eh, you know that you left the shower running? " Came Dunn’s confused voice from behind me. "No, Chase is in there.. " His eyes almost flew out of his head. "What? Dude, she went in there when we have two other bathrooms in this house? She went in there while you were there? Dude? What did you see?! " I chuckled and told him the story. Except for the part that I did look. He sighed. "Damn, I love the girl like a sister.. you know that.. but I would have died a happy man if I could see her now.. I don’t get how she keeps her body like that. All she freakin eats is Ben and Jerry’s! " I shrugged and slapped him. "Enough talk, let’s go plan this party! " He groaned but followed.
~Your POV~
When I got out of the shower I could hear the guys working on all the decoration downstairs. I was feeling lazy today so I decided to call Ape. "April? " I said as soon as she picked up. "Yea sweetie? What is it? " I smiled. "What do you think about a beauty day, just you and me. We both need some time off from all those pranks and I really don’t want to help with the decorations for tonight. " She laughed. "I’d love to but I have a lot to do and-" I sighed. "Come on Ape, you’re always busy! Just call everything off for one day! Drea works there. We don’t need a appointment! Just one day! Life will wait.. pretty please? " She laughed. "Fine, I guess I do deserve a break.. Shall I pick you up in 15 minutes? " I smiled. "Yes! The sooner the better! " I hung up and started packing a bag for the spa. Just some towels and a bikini and stuff. Maybe Drea would steal a robe for me, I love those things..
When I was done I went to my window. I didn’t do this often, only if I really didn’t want the guys to see me. Now being one of those times. I climbed down the rose thingie (I wouldn’t know what those are called, but those wooden things where roses can grow on a wall.. they use them as stairs in films too.. XD) I jumped on the grass and walked to the front of the house. Carefully avoiding windows by feeling the wall. I heard April’s car approaching. "Timing baby.. all in the timing.. " I smiled to myself
"Okay Cassie, you really were right.. this is soooo good. " April said softly. We were getting our massages and enjoying glasses of champagne. I nodded but giggled, realising that she couldn’t see me. "Yeah Ape, you should listen to me more often.. " She smiled, the same way Bam did, with the sound trough her nose. "So, are you looking forward to the party tonight? " April said. I smiled. "Yeah, I really am exited. I wonder what they will think of my costume. I got teeth that almost look like my own. I’m going as the vampire queen. " April stood up, the massages were over. "It suits you Cassie, beautiful but deadly. " I laughed. "Thanks Ape.. shall we take a mud bath now? " She let a little squeal. "Oh we HAVE to do this more often! " I laughed. We will, I love to be pampered once in a while. Next time, we’ll make sure Drea can join us okay? " She smiled. "Great idea, now let’s get muddy! " I laughed and we went towards the mud baths.
~Bam’s POV~
"Dude, isn’t Cas going to help? " We are doing all the fucking work! " Raab said. I sighed. She did took a long time getting ready after that shower. I walked upstairs to see if she was okay, maybe she just got caught up in her writing again. I knocked on her door but didn’t get an answer. I slowly opened the door and looked inside, nothing.. "Chase? " I asked, entering the room. I looked at her nightstand.

April dropped me and Drea off at the front door. When we walked in I felt something on my face. Probably the decorations for the party. My guess, it was completely black and red in here. For as far it wasn’t already before this party. But now the red represented blood. "You suck.. " Came Glomb’s voice from the couch. I grinned. "Sorry sweetie, you managed without me right? " All the guys chuckled. "Yeah, WITHOUT you! No work and all play huh! " They said. I shrugged. "Learned from the best didn’t I? " They went silent. Hah, gotya there.. "What’s the time? " I asked none in particular. "21.00" Came Bam’s voice. "They are going to arrive soon, better get dressed. "He said. I smiled and went upstairs. "Chaahaaase! What’ya going to be!? " He whined walking after me. I grinned. "You’ll see! Patience is everything young grasshopper. " He grumbled and went into his room. "Drea, will you help me with my makeup? " I asked while batting my eyelashes. She laughed. "Yeah, I’ll get dressed in your room, that way we can surprise the guys. I’m just going to get my costume. I nodded and went into my room. I sighed and layed down on the bed. I was tired from being pampered.. damn I’m bad..
Drea and I spent about an hour an a half getting ready. The party had started half an hour ago. Drea was Juliet, and I of course was the vampire queen. According to Drea I looked beautiful. Dark, but beautiful. She said my white eyes were like the finishing touch. I loved her idea of Juliet. I just hoped, for her sake, Dico didn’t dress up like a turtle or something like that. There was a banging at the door. "Whahaaat!? " I yelled. "Aren’t you ready yet!? " Dico whined. I laughed. "You’ll see your sweetheart in a minute, now MOVE! " I heard him walking back to the party. After another ten minutes we were both ready to go down. I smoothed out my skirt once again. Drea smiled. "You look gorgeous Cas, Bam will love it.. stop worrying. " I jerked my head up. "Huh? What? " She laughed. "Oh come on. You don’t fool me, you like him Cas.. it’s so obvious! " I held my head down. Was she right? I did like being around Bam.. he made me feel special. But I haven’t had a boyfriend in years! What would make it change this time? I mean.. I’m blind.. who would want to start something with a blind girl? I sighed. "Don’t be silly Dre.. he’s my best friend.. besides.. I’m me! " I made a silly hand gesture. She sighed and shook her head. "Keep fooling yourself Cas.. let’s just go to the party shall we? " I nodded and let her take my hand. Together we descended down the stairs.
~Bam’s POV~
The party had begun about half an hour ago. I didn’t see the girls yet. Why do they always take so long getting ready!? I don’t understand it.. I grabbed another beer and continued my conversation with Dico. He had dressed up as Romeo.. I’ve never seen him so romantic.. Normally he dresses like a cat.. or a turtle for that matter.. When Dico and I just started talking I heard a few gasps behind me. Dunn was changing music so there wasn’t any music. I turned around and I saw the most beautiful thing on earth. Drea and Chase were coming down the stairs. Drea looked gorgeous, but my eyes stuck to Chase. She looked so.. fragile.. Like a porcelain doll or something. My guess. She was a vampire queen. She looked royal. Great minds think alike I guess.. I was dressed up as a vampire too. But she, she took my breath away. I turned to Dico, to say something, but he already had sprinted over to Drea. The music started playing again and I walked over to Chase. "You look absolutely gorgeous.. wow Chase.. " I whispered in her ear. She smiled.. I think I saw her blushing, but that was probably just my imagination..
~Your POV~
I blushed.. Oh shit, Drea was right.. I think I’m falling for my best friend. "Thank you Bammle. " I smiled Oh fuck.. fuck fuck fuck.. how am I going to get over this? I am not willing to let Bam out of my life. Shit, I hate suppressing crushes..
"Willing to dance? " Bam said in my ear. He snapped me out of my thoughts. I smiled. "Yeah.. let’s go.. " He grabbed my hand and let me trough the mass of people. He put his hands around my waist and we started dancing. At first, it was beautiful, by HIM. After that there was a more dance type of song coming on. I took his hands in mine and started to move a little further away from his body. Taking his hands with me. I turned and swayed. He followed. It slowly turned into grinding a bit. Nothing serious. I was dancing with my back to him and had my head against his chest. We danced like that more often. It wasn’t anything new. Only this time.. I felt Bam put his hands on my waist more firmly. Seeing my recent doubts about my feelings for him.. I didn’t really mind, we just continued dancing like that. Slowly but surely the music disappeared from my head a little. I was thinking about how it would be, being together with Bam. Most I could come up with were fairytale scenario’s, to block out the idea of opening up to someone again and getting hurt. "Let’s get something to drink.. " Bam whispered in my ear. I nodded and we went over to the pirate bar. "There they are! " Drea’s voice came. " I smiled, having fun Dre? " "YAH! Dico is Romeo! Can you believe it? We didn’t even talk about our costumes!! " I smiled.. "See, you two belong together.. " She laughed and took me apart from the group. "You and Bam were doing quite well for yourselfs if I may say so.. You have been dancing the past hour and a half.. " I gasped. "That long!? Wow.. I had no idea.. " She snickered. "Yeah, time flies when you’re in love.. " I punched her in the arm. "Shut up.. " I hissed but couldn’t help but smile. "HEY! No punching Juliet! " Came Dico’s voice. I laughed. "Yeah yeah! " Drea put her head on my shoulder. "Told ya soo.. Bam is so staring at you right now.. " She singsonged in my ear. I smiled and pushed her head of. She lost balance and landed on the ground with a thud. I stuck my tongue out and got a beer from Bam. He wrapped his arm around my waist and we stood talking with the guys and Dre.
