Dream Breaker

Brian then pulled up in front of his house taking the picture in his hand he sighed, looking at the two peanut figures. Two kids? Is this some kind of punishment or something? Is it because he was an asshole and left her pregnant because he was too scared to step up to the plate? He stuck the picture in his pocket and got out of the car and closed the car door, looking up he saw Shauna.

"Hey baby!" She said happily as she walked over to where he was standing wrapping her arms around his waist.

Brian stiffened slightly hoping to god her hands didn't move lower, because if they did she would find the ultrasound picture and that was seriously the last thing he wanted to deal with. He then wrapped his arms around her and kissed her head; feeling her hands start to move lower he stopped them.

"And where do you think your hands are wandering too?" He asked her with a believable smirk.

"Know where," Shauna smiled up at him and kissed his chin, "You didn't stay very long with the guys."

Brian shrugged.

"We were just talking that's about all. Nothing really important." Brian said as he pulled away from her walking up the front steps.

Shauna watched as Brian walked passed her, she had a slight glare and followed after him into the house. She watched as he took out his wallet and then took a seat on the couch he leaned his head back and sighed, letting out a yawn.

"You have been really tired lately babe, maybe you should try and take it easy for a while," She said as she took a seat next to him.

"I'm good babe we just want to get everything with this album done," He yawned, "We are just really excited about it that's all."

"I know you are, but I am just worried about you. Don't want you to get really stressed,"

"I won't get stressed Shauna,"

"If you say so," She said as she laid her head against him, "Do you want to hang out tomorrow?"

Brian looked at her and shrugged. "I guess,"

"You guess? What do you mean you guess? How can you guess if you want to spend time with your own girlfriend?"
"I don't care if we do or not." Brian told her.

"Do you have other plans?"

"I was invited to Zack's house for a get together."

"You mean I get to meet your other friends finally?" Shauna asked as she ran her fingers through his hair.

Brian nodded and looked at Shauna, he knew that her coming wasn't going to be the smartest thing he's ever done. But he also knew that if he didn't go with her he would never hear the end of it.

She smiled and kissed him softly her hands running down his chest taking his lower lip in between hers. "I love you Brian.."

Brian nodded and kissed her softly in return, "Love you too, Shauna."

~The Next Morning at Zack's House~

Zacky woke up next morning and walked down the stair scratching his chest as he made his way into the kitchen seeing the coffee pot had hot coffee waiting for him. Taking his normal coffee mug out from the cabinet he poured himself a cup he yawned, looking outside he saw Adrianne was already setting up. He walked outside being greeted by Jake who was sitting in his sand box playing with his toys.

"Momma! Daddy is wake!" Jake smiled and waved at Zacky.

Zacky waved and took a drink of the coffee watching as Adrianne started setting up the lounge chairs. "Babe, what are you doing?"

"What does it look like I am doing?" Adrianne answered, "Baby can you make sure that we have enough plastic cups?"

Setting his cup of coffee down he walked over and stood behind Rae wrapping his arms around her middle kissing his wife's neck. "Why are you freaking?"

"I'm not." She told him, "I just want everything to be perfect when my folks get here that's all."

Zack nodded and gently rubbed his hands over her tummy and kissed her cheek softly. "I don't think they are going to care about you having all these decorations or plastic cups. It's about being with their girls and their grandson."

Adrianne nodded and turned in his arms wrapping her arms around his neck she kissed him softly. "You are so sweet, but you should go put a shirt on." She told him.
"I will when I finish my coffee and my smoke." He told her.

"Fine, but I'm going to finish." Adrianne said as she walked off to finish some more of the set up.

Zack made his way back to the house to be greet by a very groggy Audrey. "Morning girlie." Zacky said as he watched as Audrey poked at her bowl of fruit. "Not hungry?"

Audrey shock her head. "Just the thought of food is makes me want to hurl," She sighed, "This really bites."

Zack laughed. "Morning sickness?"

"Yes.."

"It gets better, Rae had a hard time with Jake the first months."

"She could at least eat."

Zack smiled and patted her back softly and poured a second cup of coffee, he sighed and leaned against the counter. "Excited for the party?"

"Sure, if I don't get sick."

A few minutes had passed and Adrianne walked in with Jake's hand in hers. "Morning mama," Adrianne smiled and kissed her sisters cheek. "Sick again?"

Audrey nodded and sighed sipping her water slowly.

"Poor baby, Zack are you going to put a shirt on yet?"

"No. I'm not done with my coffee." Zacky smiled at his wife. Adrianne rolled her eyes and walked over to the fridge taking out Jakes juice cup and grabbed the many bags of veggies.

"Well then you can keep Jake entertained while I start the food prep. Audrey do you want to help?" She asked her sister.

Audrey nodded. "Just let me get dressed and I'll be down." Adrianne nodded as she started to wash the veggies.

Zacky followed his son into the living room to watch Thomas the Train Engine. Audrey got off the bar stool and walked out of the kitchen to her room, looking at herself in the mirror she sighed seeing her mess of hair.

"Time to get ready for the day guys." Audrey said opening her closet seeing her new maternity shirt her sister had bought for her, it was white with a slate gray skull and flowers on it. Removing her night shirt she looked down at her tummy, she patted her tummy and smiled.

Slipping on the shirt she finished getting dressed finishing her make-up she walked down the stairs seeing her sister placing some of the cut veggies on the plate. She walked over to the fridge and took out her water bottle. "Do you want me to start laying out the meat and cheese platter?"

Adrianne nodded. "That would be great."

Then there came a knock to the front door and a squeal for Jake as the girls heard their mothers voice.

"Nonna!" Jake squealed as he ran into his grandmas arms hugging her.

"Hi sweetie!" Loren smiled scooping him up in her arms, "Are you going to say hi to papa?"

Jake looked at Eric who was standing behind his Nonna, without a smile on his pudgy face he said. "Hi."

Loren couldn't help but laugh. "I told you that I was the favorite."

Adrianne and Audrey walked out of the kitchen and smiled at their parents. "Hi Mom, hi Daddy." Adrianne smiled.

"Hey baby girls," Eric said as he walked over and kissed each of their heads. "Ready to party like a rock star?"

"This is a family friendly party daddy." Adrianne told him.

"The partying like a rock star with be the after party." Zack said as he kissed Loren's cheek.

A few hours had passed and the rest of the gang started to arrive and Audrey was sitting at the edge of the pool soaking her feet in the cool water. Soon she was joined by Nicole who had her normal bright smile on her face.

"Hello Audrey." She smiled.

"Hey you guys made it."

Nicole nodded. "Of course we came, why would we not?"

Audrey shrugged and looked into the water sighing as she rubbed her tummy groaning she kicked the water. "I'm so ready for this pregnancy to be over." she sighed.

Nicole couldn't help but laugh. "You are not even four months sweet heart, you have six more months to go."

"I know."

Then there was loud booming voice of Jimmy greeting Brian. "Yo' it's about time you got your ass here." Jimmy said as he gave his best friend a hug.

"Sorry man, we got caught up in traffic." Brian said feeling Shauna grip his hand. "Oh. Jimmy, this is Shauna. Shauna this is Jimmy." he said with a smile.

Jimmy waved with a smile on his face. "Nice to finally meet you, Shauna."

Shauna smiled sweetly and waved at Jimmy in return. "Same."

Jimmy nodded and walked off leaving Brian to introduce his new girlfriend to the rest of the group, making his way to where Audrey and Nicole were kneeling next to them he smiled.

"What's up chickas?" He asked.

Audrey shrugged, "Trying not to puke."

"Well it's going to be ten times harder."

Nicole looked over her shoulder tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "Why?"

"Brian and his new play thing just arrived." Jimmy said as he sat down on the other side of Audrey. Nicole took a deep breath and smiled her normal smile.

"How nice." She stood up. "If you excuse me you too I am going to go and introduce myself."

"Be careful, her skankiness is radiating." Jimmy said as he rubbed Audrey's back as Nicole walked off to where she saw the familiar black fedora of Brian.

"Brian! I'm so glad that you could make it!" Nicole said as she hugged Brian her gaze locked on Shauna, waiting to see if she did anything. Of course she didn't Shauna only smiled and pushed her ugly sunglass atop of her head.

Brian looked a little confused and returned the hug. "It's good to see you too Nickel."

"So, who's your friend?" Nicole asked pulling away.
"Oh." Brian said. "Nicole this is my girlfriend Shauna. Shauna this is Matt's girl Nicole."

Nicole smiled her bright smile and held her hand out to Shauna. So this was the girl that hurt her best friend. "It's a pleasure to meet you Shauna."

"You too." Shauna said with a very clear fake smile.

"So, how long have you and Brian been seeing one another?" Nicole asked.

Shauna wrapped her arms around Brian's waist and kissed his cheek. "We have been going out for almost six months."

Nicole's face stayed the same as her gaze drifted to Brian who had a sweet smile on his face as he looked down at Shauna, and Nicole new that it was fake. She was very good at reading people and Brian was one of the easiest to read, people some of the time talk with their hands; Brian talks with his eyes.

Adrianne looked over from the conversation she was having with her mother and father to see where Jake was. Hearing Zack's voice interacting with Brian, she then noticed that there was a very familiar woman hanging on Brian's arm.

"I'll be right back Mom." Adrianne said as she walked over to where Zack was. She then wrapped her arm around his waist she looked Shauna up and down.

"Hello Shauna, nice to see you again." Adrianne said with a smirk on her face.

Shauna's eyes narrowed at Adrianne, and Nicole coughed.

"Is there a problem here?" She asked.

Adrianne only shock her head. "No, only the fact that she is a trash talker. That's all."
