I tried it out on an old white tee, and it ended up looking terrible, as you stated in the tutorial. But after that, I tried again and got a really cute shirt. Thank you.(:

I didn't write the article (obviously), but I'll try to help you. Have yuo ever seen the blankets people make for each other by taking two fabric sheets and tying tassles together around the edges? The product of this tutorial looks like that, except the tassles go down each side of the shirt.

I'm not quite sure what the end product is meant to be, there's no picture of the overall effect and no description. While a good turtorial, I'm reluctant to try because of reasons stated before.
