Pumpkin Fudge

Pumpkin sounds like an odd flavor for fudge, but if you like pumpkin pie, you will love this fudge! It is a perfect snack during Halloween and a great dessert to serve for the American holiday, Thanksgiving.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of granulated sugar
  • 1 cup of light brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup of butter
  • 2 cups of white chocolate chips
  • 7 ounces of marshmallow cream
  • 2/3 cup of evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup of pumpkin puree
  • 2 teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 cup of chopped pecans
  • 1 ½ teaspoons of vanilla extract

Materials:

  • Large baking pan
  • Aluminum foil
  • Medium saucepan

Directions:

  1. Take the baking pan and line it with the aluminum foil.
  2. Combine the sugar, evaporated milk, brown sugar, pumpkin puree, butter, and pumpkin pie spice in a saucepan and put on medium heat.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, making sure to stir constantly. Continue boiling for 10 minutes or until the mixture becomes thick.
  4. Add the white chocolate chips, marshmallow cream, pecans and vanilla extract to the mixture.
  5. Stir until everything is melted and the mixture has an even consistency.
  6. Pour the mixture into the lined pan and refrigerate until the mixture has cooled.
  7. Remove the fudge from the foil and cut into squares.
  8. Enjoy!
