Pumpkin Fudge
Pumpkin sounds like an odd flavor for fudge, but if you like pumpkin pie, you will love this fudge! It is a perfect snack during Halloween and a great dessert to serve for the American holiday, Thanksgiving.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of granulated sugar
- 1 cup of light brown sugar
- 3/4 cup of butter
- 2 cups of white chocolate chips
- 7 ounces of marshmallow cream
- 2/3 cup of evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup of pumpkin puree
- 2 teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice
- 1 cup of chopped pecans
- 1 ½ teaspoons of vanilla extract
Materials:
- Large baking pan
- Aluminum foil
- Medium saucepan
Directions:
- Take the baking pan and line it with the aluminum foil.
- Combine the sugar, evaporated milk, brown sugar, pumpkin puree, butter, and pumpkin pie spice in a saucepan and put on medium heat.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, making sure to stir constantly. Continue boiling for 10 minutes or until the mixture becomes thick.
- Add the white chocolate chips, marshmallow cream, pecans and vanilla extract to the mixture.
- Stir until everything is melted and the mixture has an even consistency.
- Pour the mixture into the lined pan and refrigerate until the mixture has cooled.
- Remove the fudge from the foil and cut into squares.
- Enjoy!
