@ eileencake Oh well, it's true that the original is on a skillet, but in my house we like to choose healthier options so we always make it in the oven. It turns out great! :)
I thought this was different. Normally when my mother made french toast, we'd put the cinnamon and sugar in a bowl with eggs, stir it, and then dip the bread in the egg mixture before cooking it in the skillet on both sides. Who taught you how to make french toast in the oven? This is pretty new to me cx
