That is soo dumb.... What happened to the quote: "Think first before you act?". I think the company is being idiotic to sue first before asking questions. The woman was just saying her opinion. And who would ever see that tweet anyway? I bet that company was just looking for a public drama to get noticed. They could easily tell her delete it and stuff.

That's unconstituional and illegal to sue as a company before asking to take it down.

Under the right to free speach, if she would bring that up in the Supreme Court of her state, she could counter sue for emotional damages and win if her layer was half-way compentent.

Not all Americans do. Not even close. It's just that they're the ones who get news about them. Who would air a story about how Mary Sue Jones, the single mother of three, didn't sue her neighbor for letting her child trip on their driveway?
I mean, I agree that it happens far too often, but it's fairly frustrating to hear things like that when the majority of us are mature enough to NOT sue everybody, and then we all get lumped in with the fair few who do.

How ridiculous. If they want to attempt to preserve their image, admitting to being a 'sue first, ask questions later' sort of company is NOT the way to go about doing so. It only makes them look immature and nasty. Scum, considering these circumstances. Abusing the legal system... gr.

Suing someone over something doesnt really get what you want. It's the eqivalent to having tantrums for an effective way to get candy, but with more paperwork

You can not be serious. There policy has to be the most moronic theing I have ever heard. And it what pisses me off about the U.S. All American's do is sue people. The daytime commercials are getting absolutely ridiculous. Everytime I watch a television show there is a commercial for a lawyer to sue someone else for some retarded reason or another. What happened to good old fashion arguments that didn't take place in a courtroom.

"Sue first, ask questions later" is a very costly and stupid way to go about things.

..I'm pretty sure twitter was made for something that people can vent angrily into if they were ticked off- that's ridiculous that she's getting sued.

The lady has a right to express her opinion. I'm sure she's not the only one who's ever said that.
