Okay, now that's just rediculous! I don't think over-reaction covers it. So the woman was venting her frustrations? Who cares? $50,000? Christ!
I hope I don't get sued for this, (and I'll take precaution with this next statement) but that realty company isn't very friendly at all!

I suggest we all go on Twitter, and right a nasty tweet about how that company's apartments suck, and see how many of us get sued.

She has the right to say whatever she wants. As far as I'm concerned, it's wasn't against one single person, who gives a shit.

So they just sue her without any warning whatsoever, and they don't even give her a first warning or a notice to take down the tweet?

Yes, that's really going to help your company do business...-_-

"we’re a sue first, ask questions later kind of an organization.”

That statement and the fact she's being sued over a statement--a statement, mind you, not an action, a STATEMENT--makes me very worried for the future. Is this where we are headed, a future where ever word will be viciously scrutinized?

It makes me want to avoid the internet.

And you know what? The fact that company was ignorant and greedy enough to sue her instead of simply requesting she remove the post disgusts me. In fact, this action has prompted me to avoid whatever they are affiliated with.

What irony, trying to keep a good name and instead slandering it themselves.
