Bands change. It's a fact. Deal with it. One added member won't ruin them. They have been touring with that man for a while now. And duh, they did change but so did FOB, P!ATD, and Linkin Park. Suck it up. Listen to it with an open mind like there is no new member and appreciate them as they are, excellent musicians. Change is most always for the better but sometimes the better is harder to see. Just because you liked thier old music doesn't mean the old music disappears when the new stuff comes out. He recorded The Black Parade with them and now you know he is there you freak-out. He has been there since 2006, almost 2 years. Now you know, get over it. It is not like they replaced the singer or the lead guitarist. They just got a keyboard player. Wow, who gives a shit it is still an excellent band.
They've changed before, they've changed on every record. Bullets, Revenge, and Black Parade only have a few similarities in them. One simple change like adding a keyboardist isn't going to ruin them. And having six members isn't going to either. A fine example: Linkin Park. And I remember also seeing another band with TWELVE members and they were amazing.
I have heard their 'new song', it's absolutely amazing, and it has him playing keyboards. So it really isn't denstromentral to them, it's making them better. Yes, only Black Parade has piano on it, but they will probably only play the songs they play now off of Revenge, most likely less.
I have no problems with it, but I'll only believe when they say it.
to be honest and not to sound mean but I really dont want him to be in band pics.I know its harsh but I really dont want that to change. And mcr has changed since revenge.
Imma probably get internet jumped but I'm so sick of the MCR boys.
The second that the last news dies down with them and people aren't like freaking out over Frank getting married or a new DVD or them killing themselves they do something else to have more news.
The same with Panic, and we all saw the rubbish that PATD came out with.
Lostprophets' Jaime is better than this fellow will probably be anyway.
It's Me Again
i've just listened to 3 Cheers...
has anyone noticed the start of You Know what They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison...
That sounds like a piano to me (though my hearing is really bad)
but in the LOTMS version bob starts
if you listen closley to the WTTBP music you can hear the piano and i can see why a piano player is needed but shouldn't he bee like Jason White? a back ground member that's not in intwerviews or Posters or any of that crap but mentioned on the CDs and any Live music the bands sells?
that's just my opinion but if MCR do take this man to be a part of their band it won't change them
unless this guy starts trying to replace other members
then this guy will be hated
but i have nothing against him joining MCR
the more the merryier
whoa.
i thought that was old news.
mmm...james makes me smile.
reggie and the full effect was amazing.
maybe he'll bring back some of the fun that has seemed to fade from my chem.
=]]]
so let me get this straight
all of the original members of mcr are still in mcr they're just adding James on keyboard.
and died gerard ever move to Idaho or whatever?
James Dewees is AMAZING.
He fits right into My Chem
I mean he has been playing with them since revenge, so it's pretty much like he's been with the band for a while now (:
He's one of those spastic keyboardists, so he fits perfectly.
I can't believe some people are mad about this though, it's jsut a 6th member, and the man is a genius, I mean come on.
Yes, Mrs. Schechter, Lostprophets has a keyboardist--Jamie. And you can barely tell there's keyboards in most of their songs.
They're making the choices that will improve the band. And if it doesn't pan out as they plan, I'm sure the boys are smart enough to say, "Okay, James, try to do this a little differently," and such.
It'll be fine. I don't understand why everyone's getting worked up about this.
