To everyone that has posted abouty what they think is 'gross':
    GET OVER IT.
So people like reading different things to do
    SO WHAT?!
Not everyone can be into the same stuff!
If they like it, they like it.
If you don't like it, AVOID IT.
You don't have to read it if you don't like it!!
Just don't turn on others because they do.

    Okay, rant over.

    (:

I personally read both Het and Slash, abnd I don't see what is wrong with either, in moderation.
Get over the hate for seomthing yo don't like and LEARN TO AVOID IT INSTEAD.

I admit that sometimes I get bored reading het stories, but there are some that have certainly caught my attention ^^ in most of my stories they're a mixture of slash and het pairs. I like both of them, I like the feeling of giddiness when the girl and the guy have a cute moment x3 here in the philippines it's called getting 'kilig' xD

i'm not against homosexuals, in fact on of my best friends is gay, but it's stupid for people to say that heterosexuals are disgusting when that is what is considered normal and that is the way we are supposed to be, as humans.

I totally agree I only write hetero stuff on here coz that is what I like to write but I read a couple of slash storires, I dont personally like the incest ones but each to their own... as long as the story is well written then is shouldnt matter.

Imagine if you yelled out to the world "I hate homosexuals"
Immediately you would be branded as homophobic bigot and flamed beyond belief.

Why is it acceptable to flame heterosexuals? It's hypocritical.

    Don't like it, don't read.

I completely agree with it. I like het stories more than slash personally.
And I'm sick of the hypocrisy too.

I love both types of storys.
I think their good and everything.
    Though..
I know most of you are going to hate me for saying this.
Most of the slash stories I read have WAY too much sex in them.
Whilst the het. stories I read, the plot seems to be a bit the same, just different situations.
I'm not saying either is bad but it gets old after a while.
I know that both and really shitty stories and really good ones as well.
It doesn't make sense either that a girl is straight and hate het. fanfiction.
I pretty much agree with MyChemicalConverse31.

People are flaming heterosexual stories? FAIL. I usually read slash, but I read het. too.

It's actually only a LITTLE weird for straight females to hate/flame het. fiction. Humans like seeing two members of the opposite sex make out. This is life.

Yes, I am one of the straight females that would LOVE to see two guys kiss.

    >.> This makes sense.
I guess i just talk without really thinking first.
    Sorry if i've offended people.

Its just that alot of the really, really good het stories are super hard to find.
The only one's i'm into are ones by Julienne Merryweather. She doesn't make
annoying girls. But you find really bad slash everywhere too. Its just easier to find the really bad het i guess...

Finally, someone who has enough brain cells to understand. Het stories can be just as crappy as slash, as can any pairing. Technically it's more of a pairing than a genre, though. Guys can be just as annoying as girls (especially when people write their slash characters so girly they might as well not be guys anymore). People's het-hatred is just another example of the stereotyping they all claim to hate so much. I choose not to read slash because I don't like it, but that doesn't mean I can't recognize that some slash stories are well-written. It all comes down to a person's ability to tell the difference between pairing and plot, skill and style.

    I agree.
And honestly, if they don't like het, no one's making them read it!
