This is one of many reasons I can't stand this man. He'll never be "my" president.

I Disagree with the dicision obama made I Believe that its not up to the parent to whether the child lives or not but let the child chose fpr them self and if the child is not old enough then let it live and make that choice. I myself am a Christian and i don't see it as its the mothers future but the child. and as for christianity being hypocrtical. not all christians are hypocrites we can not force anyone to do anything that person makes the choice we just try to help that person understand the decision of what they are doing. i believe its wrong because my parents dont have a right to decide if i should live or not just so that they could have a good life i want to live my life and make the decision myself if i want to die or not. not my parents thats why i disagree with obama but at the same time obama is right because people do what they want to. Thats why god put us on the earth so that we can make our own decisions so it is not christianity that is the problem its how people use christianity thats the problem

A woman should have her own choice. Go Obama.

I for one, have extremely opinionated views about Obama. I believe that voting him into office is the best thing America has done in eight years. As far as this abortion thing goes, a woman should be able to make her own desicions for her future. The government has no room to be prodding in womens lives, deciding whether or not they bring another life into this world. Christianity is far too judgemental as far as this subject goes. Somebody else posted this before me, abortion is NOT murder as long as it's before the third month. Ladies should have the choice to abort a baby that they cannot take care of rather than bring someone into the world that isn't going to have a decent life. GO OBAMA! I love everything he is doing for America!

I'm a little confused by this.
Did Obama make abortions legal, or the opposite?

Anyway, in my opinion, things like abortion or similar issues should NOT be a political issue., but something every woman/person choses for themselves.

@briebabe101: Obama could never overturn state laws, he's a NATIONAL government official. You're criticizing him for something he cannot even do.

Urmm, to people saying that now their parents pay for murder
Your parents most likely pay for murder anyway
Ever heard of the death penalty?
It's an accepted view that criminals should be killed..
Yet give a woman the option to choose her own life and suddenly it's not ok?
Religion is so hypocritical, especially Christianity
Apparently God made us with free will, yet the Christian faith refuses to let a woman use her free will to decide her future?

Let me just get a little ign'ant for a second...
GOBAMA! That's my president! YEAH!
Okay. Now, anyway, what he just did basically says that the government should stay out of a woman's body, and allow her to do what she wants.
If she wants an abortion, than get one, she shall.
If she doesn't want an abortion, she can shoose not to.
ABORTION IS NOT MURDER (if it's done before the third month), and like it's been said many a time,
if you're so against abortion, don't get one.
better yet, if you're so against it, stop it at its source:
DON'T HAVE HETEROSEXUAL SEX.
Hehe. I just felt like saying that.
So mind your own business.

Alright, I don't understand half these arguments. It's not like abortion was illegal before and has Obama legalized them! The argument against what he's doing isn't about making abortion legal or otherwise, it's keeping the federal government OUT of anything to do with them. It's easy to get an abortion in this country, but apparently not easy enough for Obama, who seems to feel that any female should be able to obtain an abortion whenever she feels like it. When he overturns state regulations on abortion, like parental notification for (in my state) girls under 14, I think we'll see alot more little girls having sex, because they can always get rid of the problem, no matter what.

I think some people should really calm down.

I myself am prolife, but I'm not the person who would preach to others about it. I wouldn't get one, but it's their choice whether they want an abortion or not.

As for the whole "raped and pregnant" thing-some people might keep their baby, some might not. I think they should have the choice, though, whether they pick the former or the latter.

To those thinking about how Obama is promoting death to unborn babies, how about you read the article again. You completely missed the point of what he is doing. This is not about abortion.

Honestly, it's a woman's body. Why should OTHER PEOPLE make rules on what she can and can't do with it, esp. the government?

Sometimes an abortion is necessary. Sometimes it isn't.

THE GOVERNMENT AND OTHER PEOPLE WHO THINK ABORTION IS BAD SHOULDN'T BE MAKING THE RULES FOR A WOMAN'S UTERUS.

And if you think about it, he's not making the rules for them, he's allowing them to make their own choices.
One of the many reasons why I'm glad this man was voted into the White House.
