He isn't said abortion is good or bad, Obama plan is basically saying that woman should a have a choice. You have the right to say abortion is bad, wrong and immoral, but you don't have the right to deny people the choice.

Good for Obama.
I'm glad he didn't make abortion illegal. The government shouldn't be able to tell us what we can and cannot do with our bodies.

What if the women was raped? Do you honestly think you can carry a child for nine months knowing how it was created?
What if abortion was the only option?
Abortion is sometimes the best option.

I'm so pleased that Obama isn't going to ban abortoins. Its not his right, its not the goverment. Its a womans choice if she feels nessicary to abort the child.

And as for those protesters, Oh boohoo! go home! Obama obviously isn't listening to you as the world isn't either.

Why do they feel that they can talk for a child thats not theres and when the child themselves dont have enough capability to think.

As its legal parent, untill 18 years old, I have the right to act for my child. If i'm going to save them a horrible life or worse, i'd rather them die before hand.

Those who dont support abortion are the real murders.

My friend had to have an abortion because of an eptopic pregnancy. In those cases wouldn't you prefer tat one life was save rather than two being lost?

I think he's emphasising Family Planning rather than Abortion- and Family Planning is giving out advice and condoms, which WOULD reduce the number of abortions going on in the long run.
However, making it easier for people to get abortions is better in the long run anyway- it means that women who can't get the operation won't be going to unsafe backstreet quack doctors. Has anyone SEEN Dirty Dancing? The girl got an unsafe abortion and ended up very, very ill because there was nothing else available except a guy with "a folding table and a dirty knife". And when we've got stuff like AIDS going around, dirty medical equipment is a BIG no-no.
I say hooray for Obama. ^^
And yes, adam t. siska- I totally agree with you. Imagine THAT conversation... "I'm sorry son, you want to see a pciture of your dad? Well I'm afraid it's more of an artist's impression... oh look, you've got his cold, dead eyes!"

TalkingIsMyLife, how would you feel if you were raped and got pregnant? I know it's rare, but if it's happened, would you really want to keep that baby? Some girls just can't deal with pregnancy, especially if it's not their fault they're pregnant in the first place, and I personally think that what Obama has done is great.

Everyone has a right to there own decision on what they do. Government should not get involved in shit like this.

Abortion is murder. Plain and simple. It's the killing of an innocent human, and the fact that Obama is flipping this just disgust me. The fact that we are letting someone do this is horrific and gross. I stand by my religious and moral rights by saying that this was one of the most disgusting things Obama could do. When I heard this, I was just shocked. Why would we allow someone to do this? Our tax paying money is headed straight to abortion clinics now, and my parents have to pay for murder.
I agree completely with onewartogo.

He's going to partner with Planned Parenthood to kill lots of babies. Whatever, I told people he wasn't going to do what he said. It disgusts me how people bought into this.

Abortion is horrible, but the government should NOT be allowed to decide what you can and cannot do with your own body.

GO OBAMA!!!
And it can help reduce numbers of abortions if people are well informed and can decide from there, also it might help if they taught better sex ed classes in America
