    Emo is bullsh*t.

Though I still believe kids beating up on others just because of stereotyping is stupid. And for it to have escalated into police protection is just ridiculous. Are people really that shallow minded?

I listen to metal, death metal ect and yet I get bullied for being stereotyped as 'emo' constantly.

I wish they'd find a new trend already, I'm sick of all the bruises.

It's disgusting. But shit like this has been happening for years. The only thing those "emos" can do is fight back. Yeah, violence begets violence, but if a person is going to have the audacity to beat you up over the clothes you wear and the music you listen to, you might as well fight back.

    Some people just royally suck.

    hahaha..."punks"
they're going against everything punk stands for! i'm not into metal, so i dunno, but even still they need to f*cking grow up and get over they're supposed "male" egos.
there's way more important issues to deal with than breeding more hate into this world

This whole business about "emos" has gotten way out of hand. Nowadays people will beat up each other for a simple reason, like expressing themselves freely.

It's truly sad what the world has come to.

Whoa, I thought this was happening around the world, but It seems that it's stronger in Mexico. I'm a Mexican, I was so concerned about all this issue, I even wrote a Journal about this, commenting on the Queretaro issue. I'm not ashamed for being mexican, it's not a new Mexican stereotype (which already are so many) every where in the world is this people full of shit, just that it happened first in Mexico. I live in Mexico City, where people are way more open minded, but in other places, people are just so old school. They will just hate girls, and emos, and gays, and everything which isn't manly.
But I just want to make clear, it's not Mexico the one with the issue, I promise there are some really open minded Mexicans that will kill for defending their freedom of speech... But you will just hear about the ones like these idiots who hate emos so much.

Also, I third what Skank said. This is nothing new.

Note that it's actually scene kids, by the way. Not "emo"s.

This is what happens, and it's not that it's a good thing, but it's true.

And the world was NEVER "wee and knew". The world was born with violence. In fact, I think it was even worse way back when.

I don't support the violent actions towards the kids involved in one of the shittiest stereotypes ever created, but nobody was joking when they said the punks wanted to beat them up.

It's not about being gay for the most part as far as I am concerned. That would contradict the majority of the typical "punk kid's" beliefs.

I just wanted to clarify that.

That's just idioitic. If you don't have something nice to say, don't say it. I though we were all supposed to learn that back in Pre-K, people. Just lay off of each other.

    I'm with i'll kill you.
This just makes us mexicans crawl in a corner.
I hate people who makes each other look bad.

And this is pathetic. People seriously need lives. So what if they aren't all head-banging and shit? They have their own preference. Just like the metalheads. Ugh, stuff like this just disgusts me and makes me hate the world even more. As I said in a journal of mine. The world is ruthless and they don't care about its people.

    This is nothing new.

There was the 'rockers' and 'mods' back in whatever-decade-it-was,
now its the 'emos' and 'metal-heads' or whatever.

People are always going to stereotype and fight because of it.
In 10 years, it will be someone else.

It's just how it goes. The human race is pathetic. End of.
