And I'm sorry to hear that, then! I know that kind of thing can be tough. If you get some free time with him and either of you like the outdoors at all, you should spend some time at some of the parks and beaches; they're instant mood-lifters. (Torrey Pines State Park is particularly beautiful, and you can even hike down to the beach from the cliffs... but don't go at like two in the afternoon or anything.) But yeah, just don't lock yourself up indoors the whole time you're there, because San Diego really is gorgeous and the weather's fantastic. (:

Thank you for all the suggestions! I actually haven't read any of those so I'm pretty eager to see what's in store. I'm slowly going through my list cause I'll be heading to Fresno tomorrow morning for fun.

I actually won't be going to San Diego for another week or so. I wish I could say that I'm going for fun but my dude has some family matters to take care of :/ I'm just going as a silent companion to hold his hand. I'm not a fan of a few of his siblings sooo I tend to indulge in reading and/or music around them. But I am hoping for lovely weather, so thank you! I also hope that you had a wonderful trip there!

Totally a few days late, but I couldn't copy and paste links for you from my phone, so I had to wait until I got back to wifi. /shrugs. If you're still interested, I've gone and dug up some of my favorite Avenged stories that you might be interested in... or maybe you've already read them, which wouldn't be useful at all...

ANYWAYS.

If you're looking for some ZV love, Pieces is my personal favorite, by heyjude;;;. I also really enjoyed Your.Desi.Girl's Cry Wolf.

My favorite Shads story would have to be colour me perfect.'s When I Love You Means Don't Hurt Me, which is not yet completed, but still. CharmedLuna's With Closed Eyes is pretty good, but is also not yet completed. That one's more BDSM focused, though, heads up.

And I'm too lazy to dig deeper into my subscriptions and recommendations, but hopefully those will keep you busy if you haven't already read them. And for the shameless self promotion, I've got What We Left Unsaid in the works as a ZV werewolf story, and Let It Snow as a ZV one-shot.

Hopefully at least one of those will entertain you; I know how hard it can be to find a good story to read for a trip. I totally did the same thing (and I just got back from San Diego today! The weather's been absolutely beautiful the last few days, so you're in for a treat!). Anyways, don't feel obligated to comment on anything; I'm just trying to toss some suggestions your way. (:

No specific length I'll gladly read anything and everything!

For original fictions is there any specific lengths you prefer? Because I have one but its three chapters and 7,600 words and I don't know if that's longer than you'd prefer

I LOVE BATMAN! I named my cat after Two Face, so her name is Harley 'Two Face' Dent and she's my little love bug. I also love original fiction so you can bet I'll be reading both stories!

I don't have any A7X but I have a batman fanfic Night is Gotham and an original fiction Ghosts and it would be really cool if you checked those out.
