Hahaha I like it. I've always liked the word sucks anyway lol. Something me and my man have been saying is "You don't even know it." We say that after a lot of stuff because there's this rap song that goes..."Half million dollar car, you don't even know it. Thousand doller pair of shoes, you don't even know it."

We essentially joked that apparently whoever the rapper surrounds himself by in life is retarded and doesn't know a lot since he's always saying they don't even know it haha. Me and him will say..."I'm hungry and you don't even know it." Yes we are weird.

I keep saying that I'll tell people what my username is someday but I'm just not ready yet so for now it shall remain a secret. But I like your username. It's adorable.

People have asked me before what my username means and I've had it since I joined mibba so many years ago. Durch den Monsun means 'through the monsoon' in German. I got it from a song but I also just love the way it sounds and I think it is me in a way because when I decided on it I was just deciding to fight my addiction and my depression and that's what it was like. Me fighting my way through a onslaught of rain.
It's also a son I love by the band Tokio Hotel. They're a German band and that's the title if the orinhibal German version of the song and the English version is just called Monsun. I love to listen to it in German more and actually prefer it over the English version. And now that I've learned German I can understand the lyrics so much better lol. I love it though although I may change the number at the end. I just randomly chose 87 because I think a musician I really liked at the time was born in 1987. I'm weird I know. =]

I came up with Juno because a lot of people said my personality resembles hers.

Okay, first of all, I found it really interesting learning the meaning behind other users screen names, so thanks for posting this blog and prompting that!

As for my weekend... it was dullsville. My boy was at work (shitty 1pm - 10pm shifts, so we couldn't do anything) so I spent majority of it fluffing around on my laptop. But then I went swimming on Sunday with my bestie (who I don't see much, because she's at Uni)... it's been a while since I went swimming, we did laps of a full size pool for about an hour and a half and I'm still hurting from it. Hahaha.

My username... well, it's actually something a friend called me once. We were talking about an ex (whom I tried to stay friends with after we broke up) and how he had a tendency to go for the "damsel in distress" kinds of girls. And we were talking about how his relationship with me didn't last because I'm not that kind of girl... I take care of my own problems and I'm not a fan of drama. Then my friend said I was more of a "Damsel of Darkness" and yup... I liked it, so I used it. It's been my username on here ever since I joined... which was sometime in 2008. And before that, I used to use "Danni Girl" on other sites, which is just my name and my gender. Nothing special. Hahaha.

Mibba has become my antidote to a lot of problems life has thrown at me. If something upsets or angers me, you'll find me on here because it can calm me right down. As well as that, I love Swedish House Mafia and their song 'Antidote'.

Mine is from a story I started to write and never finished. It was about a girl with a red umbrella and I thought it was pretty. Then I went through the rainbow for a while until I settled on Indigo. Indigo Umbrella is also the alias of a character of mine, who is my profile picture. :-)
