Sometimes when I'm really fed up, I do consider it. Not very seriously though. I always say that if I didnt' want to go to college, I'd drop out right now. But I do. So I've got to tough it out. I would consider just doing theatre if I dropped out, but I don't think that'd work too well.

    I dropped out.
And I give advice for all those who consider it - don't do it.
    It's not worth it.

Then I went into a program at another school(adult education program), which you have to pay for, where I get some classes, if there are enough people signed it, but that was only 3 classes.
The rest was through self-teaching and exams - not the easiest thing ever, since you have no one to explain to you; especially with something like Science.

I'll graduate from high school at 21, if I'll be lucky and have no more set-backs.

I lost 3 years of my life. 3 years I am never getting back.

I've never liked school and Id give anything to get outta that place. Im not sure when your alllowed legally drop out in Ireland.

I know my dad did it. I dont know how he feels about it. I know his mum regrets his dropping out. She payed for night classes for him, he didnt go.

That why I wont drop out. No matter how pissed I get with school I wont drop out because I dont wanna end up like my dad.

At the beggining of this year [freshman] I was thinking of dropping out on Junior year. But after thinking about it, I'd rather just graduated without making a big ass deal about it [parties, etc] and leave this damn town. So yea, I'll try not to.

I want to drop out of 6th form after my first set of exams but my parents have it stuck in their head that you CANNOT get into University without A Levels.
I've tryed explaining that you can get NVQ's, National Diplomas and National Awards, B-techs etc... but they won't budge.
My 6th form is very very bad, and I have no friends there. I'm depressed but I can't drop out. :(

The government gives me money until I turn 21 if I continue to learn full time the whole time, so no chance of me dropping out. I mean, I could drop out and go straight to polytech, but what if something goes wrong? I really don't want to be a high school drop out.

Some days I would like to drop out. But I would like to drop out and still make something out of myself (e.g. Billie Joe Armstrong/Tre Cool) - but there's no guarentee that'll happen.
I don't think I could take the risk.

I would like to drop out so much, because my teachers are awful. But it would'nt be good for me in the long run.

I dropped out of college after two weeks. But it was because I was going through a lot at home. I plan on going back in August. I regret dropping out because I feel like a bum. My advice is not to do it.

I guess it's okay, provided you know where you're going and stuff. what you wanna be and all that.
I guess it's sort of brave in a way.

But I'd never do it. My parents would slaughter me. lol

It's the same here. I think it's because the government want more people to stay and school, go on to Uni etc.

My mum had to fill in a form saying I was going to college because otherwise they'd stop paying benefits. So, I guess it's also something to do with the child earning oney themselves.

My father, step-father and three step-brothers all dropped out, so they are all REALLY pushing me to finish school and go on to uni. I'm going to do it.

Well, my stepdad died in an accident, and we have a programme in New Zealand called ACC, which is short for something to do with accidents, and it gives you money if you, or somebody in your family has an accident. Or something of the sort... :shifty

I wanna drop out of college right now.

Or at least that's what I've been thinking about a lot lately. Like, there are moments where I just gotta ask myself what I'm doing, 'coz I feel completely lost.
    I don't know.

I wouldn't be able to drop out till uni, 'cause seriously, even then, my parents would be disappointed like hell if I did. They want me to keep on studying after college, get a PhD and everything. I want to make something out of myself, so if I ever drop out, it'd be to focus on being in a band. Cliche as it is, it's what I want to do, the thing I'm the most passionate about. Otherwise, I don't think I really would. But it works for some people, obviously.
