I review if I liked something I read, feel constructive critisisum is needed, or they have a ton of grammar/spelling mistakes. I don't comment every chapter I read, either.

Same, on both parts.
- shotgun opera:
- I only comment if I feel I can say something intelligent about the story, or to let the author know how it made me feel.
Otherwise no.
Plus I rarely read lately. :shifty
What Sam said :con: If I don't like the story, I won't comment on it. I know a comment may help the writer to improve, but sometimes you see a story that's full of errors and a cliche-like plot and it just takes away your interest in actually living some con-crit, because you know you might be too harsh on it and sometimes authors don't take criticism very well.
- Mr Hebe:
- When I comment I like to give some sort of feedback, and I can't do that if I don't like the story, so I only comment stories I really feel passionate about.

Otherwise no.
- Liberian Girl:
- I only comment a story if I really like it. If I'm subscribed to a story but I think it isn't that good, I won't comment, but I stay subscribed because I HAVE to know the ending.
There are only a few stories a actually comment every update, but if it's not a good update, then I probably won't.
Ditto. :file:

This, basically.
- sunny shines:
- I only comment if I have the time and believe I actually have something worthwhile to say about the story.
