I haven't written a diary before, but now I kind of started one on livejournal so my parents wont be able to see it. and I write in it at least twice a week. It's really useful!

I only ever write in mine when I'm upset or I need to write an event down for future remembering or whatever.
I love my diary, because I draw and doodle and write lyrics in the margins, and it is me, in an object.
I'm actually sort of very Tom Riddle about it. My diary is an extension of me... almost like a Pensieve.

Uhm. I have a diary here and there. But I haven't written in it since last year when I graduated from middle school. Eh, I miss my diary. It was probably my BestFran. :)

I have a few notebooks that I set up as a diaries. At first I'll write in them everyday but pretty soon the entries get farther and farther apart.

I don't even know why I try anymore. No

Although I do enjoy reading the entries after a few years, there pretty funny and full of spelling mistakes that I'll correct with a pen.

I used to... but these days there are some things I can't risk putting on paper that someone might find.

I've had a totally of two diaries from back in the day. I went back and read one of them and it was just full of pre-teen dribble and silliness, aha. I stopped writing when I started considering what I was writing as evidence.

I have one diary a year, or roughly so. At the end of the year, if it was a bad year, I'll burn the diary. I don't know why. If it was a pretty good year, I'll just hide the diary where no one's going to dind it.

I found an old diary. I'm so glad that I've grown up because after reading it through, I realised that even just a year ago, I wasn't a very nice person.

Hm...I used to keep a journal type thing. But I was really.. unhappy & hung out with the wrong people, so I was just kind of experimenting with drugs (nothing heavy.) & Obviously documenting the experience in said journal. & My douchey as fuck sister read it & told my parents. I had a fucking intervention. They thought I was doing heroine! sigh.. it was ridiculous. File
Yuh. I don't tell people that. Because I don't want people to get the wrong impression, you know? But yep.. Used to, Don't anymore.
I still write lyrics & shit, but that all goes on my computer in a hidden place Very Happy

I used to have a diary, way way back. Wrote in it for a while, then stopped. Then I got a blog (or did I get the blog first, then ditch it?).

Used a blog for over a year. "Friends" found it and used it against me, and I had bad memories on that blog (I realize that, like everyone else, I was a pretty stupid/whiny/immature person when I was younger). Got a livejournal, but didn't feel right about it, so I moved back to Blogger. Now I've got two- one for short, creative bursts, and one for general stuff, though I tend to make something long and artistic with it.

I don't go on and on about my day anymore. I don't really have to. But I hope someone reads it, and any of my writing in general, and feels good about it. Like, "Hey, I am so glad she wrote this! This describes how I feel!" or "Wow, I never thought of it like that."

But if anyone's reading it, they're keeping hidden XD

I used to have a diary in high school, then I stopped when I was about 16 because I felt it was childish to have a diary.

But recently since I've been in therapy my psychologist suggested I start keeping a diary again, so I did. It's helped a lot and I no longer think it's childish. I think keeping a personal journal or diary is quite therapeutic.

    Yep.
I started really seriously keeping a journal when I was 12 so I guess I've been logging in religously for almost 4 years.

It's like you create this completely non-judgmental world, something thats totally yours that you don't have to share.
It's probably one of the most comforting notions I've experienced.
