I am really fascinated by serial killers, I enjoy reading about them in books, be it real or fiction. And I love watching programmes on serial killers, specifically the Moors Murders, its fascinating how seemingly normal people, like Myra Hindley, can be so infactuated by someone that they even help in killing children/teenagers. It's just really interesting, though I want to be a forensic scientist, so that probably adds to it.

I'm fascinated by serial killers, particularly the ones like Jack the Ripper and the Freeway Killer. I always want to try to figure out what was going on in their heads when they started killing. I've always been interested in forensic stuff, though, so maybe that has something to do with it.

I'm quite terrible when it comes to serial killers. I'm so fascinated by them, it's kind of odd.
There's a lot of things I can't handle reading about or watching or whatever, but I'm quite content to read and watch the details of what these people have done. For example, I can't watch Saw, but I'm fine to read all the gruesome details of the crimes of Jeffrey Dahmer or Paul Bernardo. It's odd.

Hell, I even have a list of favorites, so to speak.

Real serial killers I don't like but I do love fictional ones but I think that's because I don't feel guilty being fascinated by them because they never really killed anyone XD

Its amazing to me how many people are intrigued by sed serial killers. Of course there will always be people who are sickened by it ,that's a given because that is how our emotions are. We think how other people feel or how this or that might affect people, constantly. In my opinion what makes a serial killer interesting is their signatures.

The both fascinate and sicken me. I took forensics in high school and we had a unit on serial killers. It was interesting and disturbing. Especially Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy, and Ted Bundy. Crazy stuff. I also did a presentation on Richard Chase. That was disturbing.
I think its interesting because it's a phycosis.

    I love them.

I don't think of them as... senseless monsters, however. Perhaps monsters, but not senseless. Eh. It'd be awhile to explain so I won't even.

The subject is so interesting though, isn't it? Ed Gein was the first one who got me interested, one of the most popular. I never really cared for Jack The Ripper; he was never caught, it was suspected not all of the killings were by his hand and whatnot. I just loved his name.

I adore seriel killers. Okay, adore isn't the best word, but they really intrigue me. In pyschology class we're going to look into some of them and I am oober excited. My sister-in-law and brother said I was morbid for being as excited as I am. I don't think it's morbid . . .
I blame it all on Criminal Minds. Ever since I started watching it I've became more and more . . . interested with them.

I think it's one thing to be interested in serial killers and to want to read about them or something, but it's another thing entirely to say you 'love' or 'adore' serial killers themselves. These are people who have committed completely unnatural and awful acts on several occasions. I don't see how that is worthy of love or adoration without somehow glamourising or lessening what they've done.

I am interested on what drives a person to become a serial killer. What makes them do it? I, personally, am not fascinated in a single serial killer themself, just their mind. But then, I have always found the human mind interesting. To get inside the mind of a killer would be just that more interesting to me.

The ones on TV shows obviously pull you in, and you're fascinated.
But the ones you here in the news, killing 20 ladies...all blonde and in there early twenties...well it's just a waste of life...totally sad.

I don't really like the real life serial killers. It's better when they're fictional.

This report into Serial Killers and similar stuff fully explains my opinion on it.

I thiunk when such things occur, far too much concentration on the events essentially cause people to view them as anti-heroes.

I think people often forget that they were the last faces people ever saw, and that's a horrifying thing.

I have to say that I wasn't very interested in serial killers until I heard of Ed Gein. I saw a movie about him and since then become rather fascinated by the story.

My mom was writing Richard "The Night Stalker" Ramirez in prison and he wrote a few letters to me. He's pretty interesting...and he likes Green Day. Con

I wouldn't mind having a full-time job studying serial killers. That's how much they fascinate me. People fascinate me in general. I like to just sit and analyze them and find out what makes them 'tick'. I sound awfully like Sylar saying that but it is what it is. And especially when it comes to serial killers. Their choices, actions, the way they think, it's so unorthodox and different and I really love finding more about it.
