    Ohai Chuck P thread. :weird
So far, I've read every book except for Pygmy, Snuff and Haunted.
I have Snuff, but I let a friend borrow it and he keeps forgetting to give it back.
    :grr:

Chuck is just ... sdkjfbskdjfsd. A genius, man. :cheese:
I'm reading Snuff at the moment.
I've had to put it on the back burner for a while during A levels.

    ^ Read it. :weird

Benjamin Button. It's that Brad Pitt movie about the man that ages backwards. The quote is something like, "Have you been to the house on Paper Street lately?" And that's the house that Tyler Durden lives in in Fight Club.
I saw/heard that! I sort had a massive freakout and giggled to myself for fifteen minutes afterwards. :XD
    My mum was quite confused.

But anyway, yes, Palahniuk is love!
I absolutely adore Survivor. In Love
The first ever book I read by him was Diary, before I even knew about Fight Club. I was glad to have read something other than Fight Club as my first book by him because it made me appreciate him without knowing about the huge hype about him and the film/book.
    Diary was really lovely.

The first time I attempted to read Invisible Monsters, I got sort of bored and left it for a few days but then I had nothing else to read so I went back to it and fell totally head over heels for it. :cute:
I've just finished reading Haunted for the second time. :weird
    Love it!

How do you pronounce his last name?

    :shifty

I think it's Pal-uh-nyuk but my friend says it Pul-len-nee-uk.

Chuck says it's pronounced like Paula-Nick.

I read an excerpt from Pygmy. The style is so...wow. XD

I just read Guts. Didn't pass out or throw up or anything. Only mildly disgusted. I'm kind of disappointed. Maybe it's because I don't have penis?

^ I think it's mainly guys who get really freaked out by it.

Still don't want to read it, though. I clicked the link and read the first paragraph, but then I was like, "Nuhhhh," so I clicked back. I get queasy really easily.

On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the most heinous and 1 being sterilized bunny rabbits, how disturbing is it?

    Just out of curiosity.

In my opinion, like a five if you're a girl and maybe an 8 if you're a boy. Maybe a 10 if you enjoy masturbating in pools.

    I'd say like.. 6.5.. XD
I found the candle wax part worse than the swimming pool part. I wasn't totally horrified but I was squirming and really, really thankful that I don't have a penis.

Oh, alright. That's not too bad.

    -considers reading Haunted-

By the way, I read the first couple pages of Pygmy on Amazon. I wasn't too into it. No

^ I've found that he uses the whole "Your parents are God" thing quite a bit. Well, maybe not quite a bit but he used it in Invisible Monsters. [Even though I actually love that book too. :cheese:]
