Sex scenes...I've never written a sex scene and for the story I am currently writing, I have to and I'm so nervous I will mess it up. On top of that, it's a lesbian sex scene and I have no idea...but I do need it in the story.

    Romantic lovey-dovey stories...can't write them.

I fear sex. :XD I'm very amateur at writing it and prefer not to anyway since my writing is, as Dru said she herself hates writing, "lots of flowery descriptive prose with a billion metaphors".

I'm not huge on third person either, but I write it maybe...a little less than half as often as I write first.
Uh, stuff I have to research. It never comes out realistically enough.

    Break-up scenes or lovey-dovey scenes.

With break-ups, I've never been in that situation, so often I have to look back many times and ask if I'm going too far with things. Same for lovey-dovey scenes. I don't want the characters to say gooey "I love you"s for three paragraphs straight. It's kind of frustrating.

Even though there's at least one in all of my stories, I hate writing sex scenes. I have zero experience in that particular area of life, so I always feel like what I'm imagining isn't accurate enough.

I also hate writing first chapters. :twitch:

    The worst.

I've realized I'm not good at planning stories. They come out better when they come naturally.

    Sex.
Not because I find it awkward, but because I find it hard to write it as natural.
Also, I can't write het sex.

Ha, sex is my favourite thing to write... if I get bored with writing a story, I just slide in a sex scene and I'm off again. :tehe:

I hate writing in the third person.
So I do it as much as possible to try and get into it.

1st person narraration. I will write it if the story calls for it, but I normally stray away. It resrticts me.

Waycest. I'll read them, depending on the author, but I balk at people suggesting I write it. I'll do other incests though. :tehe:

    Smut & sex in general.
I'm just total epic failure at it.
Sad thing is, a story I'm writing kinda needs it for it to work, so I'm screwed...

I started a Waycest once, a looong time ago, and I quit immediately. I'd like to be able to write it, I guess, because I think it's really interesting and I'd love to try to take it past the cliches. But it just frustrates me. Can't do it. :tehe:

I hate writing short/long descriptions. I never know what to say and usually just end up using excerpts from the story. Though I think it's mostly due to the fact that there's nothing to summarize yet. I hardly ever know where I'm going with a story and so writing a summary of it is nearly impossible for me.

Describing people, I just can't do it. It always sounds so bland and boring when I do it.

Ah! Agree. I can get on fine from chapter 2 on, but in the introduction and stuff I'm just scrambling to try to create the scene just right. Ugh. It is the worst.

Same here. I've gotten a little better at it, but every time I re-read it it sounds horrible and I wonder why people continue reading after they've seen it.

I hate writing sex, along with a lot of people it seems. I'll allude to it, but I never write the actual act. I also dislike writing lovey-dovey stuff and really angsty stuff, but I'll suffer through it if the story calls for it.

Not all the time, but sometimes, I'm afraid to/hate writing the ending.
Because I'm not even sure if it is the ending.

Slash. It's just so awkward for me. I can't even pull off guys innocently kissing. I wrote a femmeslash once, and it wasn't horrible, but I don't think I really pulled it off. Practice makes perfect, though.

First person point-of-view. I don't mind reading it, but sometimes I don't really like writing anything in first person. Third person is easier.
