Romantic scenes always come out as cliche for me. :(

Second chapters! My chaptered fics are usually oneshots that go on too long, so I cut them up :XD But "sequel" chapters are a pain. It's like, trying to measure up to the first, maintaining the style/tone... and it's just harder :XD

    Vampire fics.
I'm pretty sure at this point in life I couldn't pull it off, so I won't do it.
Same with murder fics etc. I can't do it.
Long stories - I mean, I love it to an extent, but right now I feel stuck and I don't know where the characters lives are supposed to go.
Pervy sex. Beautiful sex - I can write tons of that, and long chapters filled with beautiful sex; or love making, rather. But not perv sex, it just makes me feel like I'm writing porn. Can't do it. Won't do it.

The description. I epically fail at convincing people they want to read my pride and joy before they even click on it.

Casual conversation. Argh! It just doesn't happen. Probably beacuse it doesn't happen for me in real life so i don't really know how to write it.

I've never even tried to write sex.

Fan-fictions. I feel like a dirty old man. Or a stalker. I think they're creepy. I can't read them either.

Describing things. It bores me reading it as well and I find it interupts the flow.

Those bits you've planned in your head for ages, because after thinking about it for so long, it has to be perfection, otherwise a wasted effort really.

    Word! :cheese:
I think I kinda ruin my stories by thinking about them too much for too long and then I can't write it down because it's so perfect in my head, but not in words.

^ That frustrates me to no end, then I take months just to write a line, then years to write a chapter :tehe:

I hate when I get so 'close' to a character that I cry whenever I put them through heartache. Not lying, seriously. In Freak, I've gotten to know the characters so good, and it feels like I actually know them (my characters, not the actual people they're based on), and then when I want to put them through some misery (because it's how the story goes) I feel really guilty and I cry etc.

I hate writing sorrow for my characters because of that.
I still do it though, because otherwise there would be nothing but fluff in my stories.
(Which is cute as well, but you can't have a story with 40 or something chapters and there's nothing but just fluff)

    I don't like it when a certain chapter starts really well, and then I end up killing it in the later part of it ;_;

I also hate when I end up writing cliche love scenes.

    I need originality ;_;

    2nd person.
    Really huge plot twists.
These days, nothing long. Few thousand words at most. Usually one-shots.
    Fighting scenes.
    Gore.
Epic fluff. I can write slightly angsty fluff, but that's it. I can never write fluff.
    Vampires.
And then when I write a good first chapter, then it just kinda...goes down hill. It's the same with one shots. I can write a good first page, but then after that, description starts lacking, dialog becomes forced, all that. It's terrible. :cheese:

    And, amen to this.

The middle chapters - the ones that link the story together. I'm good with intros and endings, but it's the stuff in the middle where I don't quite know what to do with them that are the problem.

I still haven't got it right and I first wrote it over a year ago.

    A late quote, but yeah. . .
I hate writing them, second chapters just kill me, to measure up to first like The Way said, sometimes It's near impossible.

Long stories. Right now, I have tons of ideas for oneshots or shortstories. But all my long ones are on hiatus.

Sometimes I wonder how I'll manage a novel :XD I'll probably get tired of it halfway through :XD

Same. I hate writing "filler." Sometimes I just wanna write the climax already :XD But when I do, I feel too lazy to write the middle :XD

^ I'm the same way, I want to write several novels, I've got millions of ideas, but I know that halfway through I'll be like "meh".
Though I guess that's why it takes some authors years to get their books published.
