So, there's a thread for things you hate to write, but but about things you love writing about? What subjects/genres/styles do you love writing?

I love writing characters that argue but who are still really close friends.

I love writing charismatic villains, especially if I'm making them sympathetic. Or if they begin as the hero but end up as the villain.

I love writing guylove :XD There has to be some of it, somewhere in almost every piece of fiction I write. I annoy myself with it, but I just can't help it.

I love writing catharsis - explosions of violence, emotion, action. I love writing people having a batshit-crazy minute.

I love writing unique imagery :XD I put a lot of work into trying to make the descriptions original, but not sacrificing smooth-flowing narration. I try. :XD

And I love breaking grammar conventions! :tehe: Capitalization, punctuation, quotation marks... I do my best to pull it off according to the mood of the story.

And... I love bittersweetness. Like, it's okay but it's not. Most of my endings take after that.

I also have a special place in my heart for brotherly love In Love

I love writing run on sentences and kind of...not gross, but...sort of gross imagery and blunt description.

    - Slash.
    - Ryden.
    - Moments in time.
    - Run-on narrative used to show a character's state of mind.
    - Any kind of 'unusual' narrative/dialogue to show a character's state of mind.
    - Mental disorders.
    - Transsexual/transgender characters.
    - Bittersweet endings.
    - Oneshots.
    - Angst.
    - Sex scenes. I absolutely love writing sex scenes. Descriptive, non-descriptive, kink, vanilla, first time, gang bangs, BDSM, everything. Love writing sex.
    - Parents. I don't write them too often, but I love writing about a character's parents. Especially when they're nice and they get along.
    - I like writing stories where sexual preference isn't much of an issue. Where, even if the character is straight, he doesn't get all wound up in liking a boy.
    - I like writing stories that I would enjoy reading.
    - Stories that, I think, are interesting and bring something new to the plate.
    - SI.
    - The Nightmare Series.

I love writing characters that confuse the reader... like a main character that seems like a villain but is the opposite of it.

    I also love writing fantasy.

    Me too! :cheese:

I love writing sex scenes and making them different. Using certain metaphores, repeating important phrases... I love making lovemaking special, and also the more sexy sex unique. I have no idea of whether I'm good at it or not though... :shifty

Things that I definitely haven't seen before.

Death scenes, break-up scenes, epic, important-to-the-plot scenes where you find out that a good character is really an evil character.

I also like taking scenes that are supposed to be happy and enjoyable, like a wedding or a dance of some sort, and throwing in a cannibal or some angry vampires. :shifty

Drama in general, arguments and fights.
Fluffy pieces, I never write an entire story thats pure fluff though.
Angsty main characters. I always write them as little dark rain clouds.

I like putting characters in different situations as well, like taking a fanfic, and turning a band boy into something else. Like, making the band not exist at all, and putting the band members into different jobs. I'm not sure if that made sense.
