AFI fans who are in the Despair Faction (AFI's official fan club), I am hearing there WILL be DF only presales for the Green Day tour, Sweet !

Hey, when is the show you're planning on going to presale happen? If it's before 3/31 I'd be interested in how well it's going.

Because the Idiot Club/Citi Group presale that happened today sounded like a disaster. Do you know if any AFI fans have already gotten presale from DF?

September 2nd, And no AFI fans have gotten presale to my knowledge, We are waiting to find out the presale password for the DF presale.

So I just found out some bad news, Hunter just confirmed there will be no third single off of Crash Love, Due to lack of funds.

Well everyone needs to remember, They are on the same label as Lady GaGa, Who I think is amazing but who is also very huge at the moment, So I assume she is Interscope's main priority, Which sucks for AFI and other smaller bands that may need some extra help promotions wise.

Wester is the only song that has ever made me cry during a concert. Granted, I also hadn't slept in two days, but the heartsick lyrics full of longing and the thumping of the harsh and unforgiving guitar as it wails its sad, yet hopeful message home...ah, it's like pure ecstasy from the heavens.

I've never been a Javey fan, though. I mean I'll put up with it but nah.
I think I like Junter though.

I've been an AFI fan since I was 10. It sucks that they aren't coming to my city Davey Havok saved me.

I'm seeing them open for GD in Georgia (it's an 8+ hour drive from New Orleans)


2nd time seeing AFI and 4th time seeing Green Day.

Wow this is a tad dead.
Anyways... their opening set for the GD tour was fantastic!
Tons of energy.
and Adrienne Armstrong was dancing along to most of their set. Kinda made my life.

I forgot what songs they played. I'll try setlist.fm and see if they have it up and if they do I'll post that here.

2 hours away. My mom doesn't want to drive that far. She even said that if they came to our area, she would have taken me for my thirteenth birthday. I'm so sad!
