Once I went to get a haircut. Just to cut off dead-ends/split-ends and maybe some 1-inch layers. Well they cut my hair to 1 inch long. It went to like my ears. Before, it went to my butt. And that was the day before 8th grade started.

At first I didn't catch what they were doing because I was thinking they were doing thbangs first. By the time, I realized what was going on it was too late. They had to cut the rest.

The second trend was those armbands. The ones that are fuzzy with like a red star on it? Yeah well, I wore like three on each arm. My forearms were covered with those fuzzy things. None of them really matched. /shudder.

And I guess a third thing was that I wore really large shirts and soccer shorts. [Didn't like having breasts, lol.]

    Ugh.

I went through a grunge phase this year and really wanted a plaid shirt, but the girl's kind, you know? My mother went and bought me a boy's one, and I wore it anyway. It was huge and made me look homeless.

    :XD

I only wear it to bed now.

My mom bought me this hideous orange and purple shirt. Well, one day I had absolutely nothing else to wear, so I put it on and went to classes... I ended up asking my friend for her emergency shirt to wear all day. It was really bad.

Oh my god, last year I wore a white skirt to school. It was cute, except for the fact that it was see-through. No one told me either. I walked around all day with my panties showing. :XD I'm never wearing a white skirt again.

In my sophomore year, I wore a black skirt with pink and black tights, and colorful striped socks that went to my knees. It did not match at all. And I had heavy eyeliner, it was just a disaster. :XD

When I first started wearing makeup I got a shade of foundation that was darker than my skin color and I wore it to school and my face was orange. It was awful. :XD :lmfao

One that I can remember clearly was when I was like 9 or something and I was in this Christmas program for church & me and my cousin had to wear tomato red turtlenecks with a felt green Christmas tree on the front of it. It wasnt even a tree it was like a green triangle and a brown stem; anyway I never wore that shirt again obviously.

I remember I used to be really into being 'punk rock' and dark n' different, but it wasn't even that, really. I used to think that meant wearing the ugliest goth-like shirt I could find at Hot Topic. I actually still have this really hideous men's black Alice in Wonderland-esque shirt. Actually, most of my shirts from the sixth/seventh grade were either men's shirts from Hot Topic, or band shirts that were still too big, even if they were for women.

When I was 12, my mom bought me these bright purple skinny jeans from Hot Topic, that came with suspenders. They were about 2 sizes to small. Well, so small that the zipper came undone constantly. I wore then with the suspenders hanging around my knee's, and it was horrid. I didn't realize how horrid it was till I saw myself in the mirror.

    No

    Embarrassing fashion stages?
    - When I was 9 - 12 years old, I went through a "tomboy" phase. My fashion choices then were just awful. Too-big shirts and jeans which made me look fatter, color clashing, and so on. Just... *facepalm*

Buy something that you've never worn?
    - :cheese: I don't know where to start. For one, there's this royal blue mini dress I thought was cute but I guess I got so excited and bought it instantly. When I wanted to wear it, it showed my stomach fat. Sad So, I can only wear them after I lose 5 - 10 pounds or maybe buy that spandex thing that makes you look thinner [ Idk what it's called }.

    When I was 13/14/15 I went through a horrible Goth/Emo stage D:
I cringe thinking back to it now; I want to burn these stripy black and white tights I wore, and sell this frilly corset thing that doesn’t even fit properly (it has always been too big); it was just all black, black, black I wore. It looked awful mostly because I was so skinny and pale.

I’ve changed so much now though. I’m fashion-mad basically, and deliberately trying to put weight on. I’m much more happy with myself now ^_^

The first time I cut my fringe, such a fail, lets just say it took about 10 bobby pins to pin it up. Also I cringe when people mention the times I perminently dyed my hair black, I only just got it back to it's natural auburn colour now because it was so dyed out it wouldn't bleach at all..
I looked like I hadn't washed my hair in ages for a loooong time.

The days when I wore completely black in general and wore hoodies and borderline cross dressed made me a walking fashion fail even though I thought it was cool at the time. Heck no.
Ok, story of my life, seriously.

I used to dress like a boy all the time when I was younger. I used to wear those short sleeve button ups that were bright and had the anime-ish characters all over them. And my jeans were always too short, although that was only because my mother couldn't afford any.

^ I wore those kind of shirts too.
    9-11
I remember I had a Spongebob one that said "Water would be nice" and Spongebob was all shriveled up.
Then right before I started 6th grade at a new school my mom decided that I was going to get a short haircut (because I never combed my hair ) and I got made fun of sooooo bad!!
    14-16ish The scene stage:
I decided to cut my own hair and be scene. Dark clothes and choppy hair. I gained weight after I starved myself when I was 12-13. Then I bleached my hair then dyed it black -it turned grey. They had to chop it off. I entered High school the same way I entered 6th grade.
Then with the gained weight I still thought I was 100 lbs, and dressed myself in too tight clothes.
Then I dyed my hair black and acted very scene. Gray extensions/ septum piercing.

I look back and seriously throw up.

I went through a stage in my sophomore year where I wore seriously thick, dark eyeliner. I had no idea how thick it was until this girl came up to me and goes "you are a much braver girl than I am. That shit is thick."

Needless to say, I came to school the next day with neat, thin eyeliner.

Same here. When I was a freshman, all I wore was thick eyeliner and it was just ugh. But instead of someone telling me off at how thick it was, I just got bored of it and reverted to the natural look again. I haven't worn eyeliner since.

Oh yeah, and when I was in fifth grade, I would always wear these cool shirts but I'd tuck them in my pants and I'd wear a belt. It was a disaster.

I didn't know how to use eyeliner in sixth grade. I just spread it around my eyes. I've seen pictures from then and I honestly look like I have a black eye.
So there I'd be in my thick eyeliner, long unkempt hair, and really baggy black hoody with ridiculously ripped jeans. This is like, ages 11-13, and I was fat and weird and... I don't even want to think about it.

Dunlop trainers, stripy legwarmers that were too tight and got bunched up around my jeans (yes, I was wearing them over jeans) and some crazy 70s smock thing with a load of patterns on it.
Yeah, and I thought I looked cool.

Oh, and my second pixie cut. I wanted to keep the sideburn bits long, but she ended up cutting it all really short. So short, I couldn't straighten any of it, and I looked like some fluffy haired boy for about two months.

And yes, my first experience with eyeliner. Very shakylines blocks of black under my eyes.
