Writing

My hobbies and interests seem to come and go as well, but the one thing I can remember doing more than any other throughout my life has been writing.

In the last 18 months I began writing again, mostly poetry as that's what I felt best at, and then found this place through a friend of mine who also writes. A few days ago I discovered some old creative writing pieces I had done for English classes when I was about 11 and my teachers had commented on them that they were brilliant (for an 11 year old in my school, actually trying was a marvel), and that's given me a push to do it more and more.

Unlike a lot of people I can't say I've been writing all my life. Writing and I have an interesting relationship. I actually gave up on it three times. The third time I recognized the trend and gave up trying to give up on writing. I just figured that if I kept coming back to it then it was something I really loved. And I've discovered that that's very true. I've haven't stopped writing since I started again and I most certainly don't plan to stop! lol

I got into writing about 4 years ago. I'm starting to wonder how I lived up until then, because writing has become a huge part of my life.

I have two main hobbies. Writing (of course) and art. Art comes first though but lately I've been a lazy artist. I'm a really good artist too and I believe I'm a good poet and story writer... I don't know, ya'll tell me. (except for the poet thing 'cause I don't put a lot of my poetry on here.

For me writing isn't a hobby, it's more of an addiction/craving. If I'm not writing something down physically, I'm imagining a scene I could write in my head, thinking about characters or thinking about how life could just be a huge novel. Well, I like to think life is a huge novel anyways :)

I haven't written at all in a long time, but it's something I feel like I'd like to get into again.

I don't really think of writing as a hobby. It's more of something I'm forced to do.

At school, teachers always said I was a good writer. I was very proud because I suck in most other things. I can't sing, play an instrument or draw.

I think I write because I have a lot of imagination and I'm a perfectionist. I don't consider myself a good writer, but I know no one could write the things I have in mind EXACTLY like I want them to be.
Then, I have to write them by myself.

I did have fun writing when I was a teen because my teachers would always say it was awesome and give me good grades. But now I'm older and writing isn't something important at college, I think I just do it to kill time.

I started writing while I was in fifth or sixth grade, and I can't believe how much I love it. I still have some of the same characters, but they have gained more personality.

I will not stop writing for the life of me.

I started to write as soon as I learned how to write. I was about 5, so I had already been writing for a year when I started school. I've always had loads of stories in my head. Writing is the best way for me to perfect them and show them to the world. I can't even picture a life without writing.

I've been writing since I could pick up a pencil-or crayon-and have never been able to stop. My stories get more and more complex, the plots change, and I'm inspired by the strangest things.

I love writing! <3 I've been writing mostly for as logn as I can remember, at the most I can say I've been writing for like ten or so years, but my very first story was a sweet short story about 101 Dalmations that I wrote when I was like six or seven. My grandparents laughed after reading it cos I wasso embarrassed. xD

if i couldn't write, well...
...then I would probably need to be put into a psychiatric ward for the rest of my life.

I, obviously, adore writing. I'm not the best, but I really try :D

I haven't been writing forever. It started on *scoff* Quizilla, because I read a story that I thought sucked and needed improvements, so I made my own story. I found I really, really enjoyed it and since, I've been a wannabe-Author. ^^ Thankfully, I found Mibba quite a bit ago and whoosh! Here I am. I've given up a lot but I think I'm back for good.

I love writing. Since I was younger I would write short stories and now it's progressed into this. I currently write songs, short stories of my own and everything I post here. I've always loved writing and when I'm older I would love to be a writer.

i feel incomplete if i'm not writing something. i know that sounds pompous and hipster but it's true. even if it's just fanfiction, it's just such a huge part of my life.
